Moving Train EA

I got an EA from a mailing list. It is called Moving Train EA that claimed to cost $499. This package consist of 1 EA that goes into Experts folder and 2 indicators that goes into experts\indicators folder.

 

It performs well on the following pairs and time frame during back test.

 

EUR/USD 1 hour

GBP/JPY 1 hour

GBP/USD 1 hour

GBP/USD 30 min

EUR/GBP 30 min

 

The Moving Train EA was developed by a team of sophisticated technical analysts and is comprised of a complex set of technical indicators that will provide accurate entry and exit points in trading the Forex market. However, to successfully use the Moving Train, its important to apply proper risk management as well.

 

By default, the Moving Train EA trades 1 mini lot per trade, but that setting can be modified to any amount allowed by your broker. The following parameters are our recommened lot sizes per trade amount based on our analysis of the EA. We highly recommend, however, using personal discretion when choosing your lot size and using the following information only as a guide.

 

 

• Account Size <$1,000 : 0.1 Lots (10k)
  
• Account Size $1,001 - $2,500 : 0.3 Lots (30k)
  
• Account Size $2,501 - $5,000 : 0.5 Lots (50k)
  
• Account Size $5,001 - $7,500 : 0.8 Lots (80k)
  
• Account Size $7,501 - $10,000 : 1 Lot (100k)
  
• Account Size > $10,000 : 1 Lot or greater

An update to this EA.

 

1. This EA does not trade often, may be twice a week depending on the trend.

2. I am currently forward testing this EA. It just closed a short trade of 0.1 lot with EURUSD, enter at 1.32242 and exit at 1.30626, making 161.60 after minus swap of 0.08. Taking slightly lesser than 36 hours. No other trades are open at this point of time.

im running an optimsation. will post the results of 2007-now when its finished. i did a 2009-now optimisation, but outside the optimisation period it struggles.
