Was designed to run on DAILY T/F, and with EURJPY, (and not very impressive) But this is what happens with a bit of tweaking and running it on H4 with EURUSD. started 19/05/08 end 29/01/10 , $5000 => $3031631-36 http://freebiestuff.biz/forex/WTF.gif Bars in test 2740 Ticks modelled 19473339 Modelling quality 71.96% Mismatched charts errors 22 Initial deposit 5000.00 Total net profit 3026631.36 Gross profit 6927657.48 Gross loss -3901026.12 Profit factor 1.78 Expected payoff 1414.97 Absolute drawdown 82.99 Maximal drawdown 164745.77 (6.60%) Relative drawdown 16.49% (4037.52) Total trades 2139 Short positions (won %) 1309 (78.00%) Long positions (won %) 830 (81.69%) Profit trades (% of total) 1699 (79.43%) Loss trades (% of total) 440 (20.57%) Largest profit trade 63862.50 loss trade -55000.00 Average profit trade 4077.49 loss trade -8865.97 Maximum consecutive wins (profit in money) 23 (438847.01) consecutive losses (loss in money) 4 (-32180.50) Maximal consecutive profit (count of wins) 438847.01 (23) consecutive loss (count of losses) -91556.68 (3) Average consecutive wins 5 consecutive losses 1 Man I love playing around with this stuff ! :D

noelsforex
Re: ZOOP EA - ReVisited Hi Guys & Gals Here is the Zoop EA (educated) + the set file to get the results from the first post. The S/L and T/P are set up for 5 digit broker, so don't get excited by the 550 S/L you will also notice that the T/P is (for a change) higher than the S/L. I think this EA could be very lucrative. ;) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0F2KAT67 Kudo's always welcome

noelsforex
Re: ZOOP EA - ReVisited Hey Stormin Just ran the backtest again with the dates as in the first post, and got the same results. T/F H4, Pair EURUSD set file mirror http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JPN16J0J I have run this half a dozen times, and keep getting the same result as post #1 If anyone can shed some light on this, - will be appreciated. jshear
Re: ZOOP EA - ReVisited I just ran back test and got not good results. The reason your results are good is your modelling quality is a74 percent . You need to download history on EUR USD pair and re run the backtest. Iceman777
Re: ZOOP EA - ReVisited I am getting shocking results on backtest too, weekend spread for EURUSD with my broker is 1.2 pips so low enough I would think Very strange
San4x
Re: ZOOP EA - ReVisited Backtests fail here with Dukascopy data (on Alpari terminal). I keep getting a "zero divide" error. Will check code as this is a pure issue with -more than likely bad- coding. Quote Thanks for the kudos...much appreciated!
hitescape
Re: ZOOP EA - ReVisited Well, to either clear up or add to the confusion, I started a test on my VPS with the exact same set file on Alpari UK. Here is the link: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/hitescape/zoop/23965 Remember, nothing will happen until it starts trading. San4x if you find any errors, let me know and I'll update the demo trial.
