Uneducated, but decompiled.

Will educate it a bit later perhaps.

 

There are two routines to the DLL that check for authenticity, and one that relies on trades. Will take a while to educate I think.

This program need #import "wininet.dll"

 

Wininet.dll is part of Windows. It should be in the System32 folder. If not, you'll need to recover it from your Windows CD.

Does anyone think its possible that the educated v50 isn't working? It is pretty rare for no trades to be opening for the entire asian session. Usually not a day goes by that I have many trades opening and closing, but since switching to v50 from v48, nothing is happening. Anybody want to check into this? Anyone else yet have any trades?

Set GMToffset manually and change auto GMT to false.

Does any one knows the purpose of the following settings in FT V50? and how to use it?

Some great information released today that the code of v50 is basically the same as v49, with two differences only: first, the default settings for all pairs are tweaked (easily changed manually in the EA's preferences), and secondly the addition of the GBPUSD pair.

 

This is good news for those of us that don't want to change from a v49 already installed, or the supercharged v48 "fts4u" (or something like that) that was released through this forum.

The rest of the Filter MA parameters provide exact values for the MA indicator.

 

There is no clear description of how this filter functions neither in the FAP Turbo manual not in the forum, although Donna (donnaforex) had run some tests and had found out that the end Balance result is a little better with the filter OFF but trading is a less risky with the filter turned ON.

 

all 3 of the things you asked deal with this description. in fact, these values are not defined anywhere in the manual. sorry; i couldn't be more of a help.

really appreciated your comment. apparently I've done some testing where i found it's bit batter to set it as:-

Scalper_PeriodFilterMA = 80

Scalper_PriceFilterMA = 50

Scalper_MethodFilterMA = 30

I tried some backtest with v50 but I can't backtest longterm strategy only scalper strategy.

I got no trades and in the journal tab I got many string notification but nothing else.I'm tryng with defaul settings and scalper strategy to false.
