What is your best winning system? Please post

Hello all...with this forum we have all kinds of systems and EAs to test out and trade. I would like to see what people feel is the best trading system that is yielding them the most profits. We are all here for one purpose and that is to make money in forex. Therefore, I will start with what I feel has been good to me and that is the HVMM 2.0 system. What is yours? Thanks for your responses in advance as I hope this topic will help us all to see what truly is a winning strategy :) :-bd

I agree that it is more about you than a particular system...however, without a sharp axe how can you chop wood? It does help to have a good system first...how you interpret and trade the system, well that is another topic in itself. The point of this post was to see what system has proven decent results for others while trading forex thats all :) Please feel free to leave your comments on what system has worked best for you :)

EAs will never be so good as manual systems, 95 % is crap, nearly everybody tells that, but all want to become rich while sleeping :))

Synergy 2 Advanced of Dean Melone is a very good system.

Breakout systems like Pallada, ProFx are good, but better on a countertrend on their line.

HVMM High Velocity Market Master, complicated, but free and seems to work, but this system is only for 1 min 5 min charts

Velocity is not good, because the main moves on which big boys look, is on 15 min charts or above.

btw i only use MA + simple price action to trade forex ;)

I like Martingale. In my opinion and experience it is a quite good and fundamental strategy.

I only used chart pattern and S/R analysis for my trading system, not bad system, profit percentage always more than loss :)

There are thousands of systems. Problem is that at first series of losses trader move to another, and then another and once again another, always trying to find the so called holy grail, wich not exist and is a complete waste of time. Just find one that suits your trading style and master it.

I agree 100%. I trade forex fulltime and most know me on here (former mod) and I only trade the S.T.A.R. Trading System. To date, I have not seen anyone try to trash this system. You either learn and understand the system and do well trading the forex or you're unable to learn the complex system. My advice is (and I know Freakgib will agree) that if you want one of the best forex systems that actually does work, you need to dedicate your time and effort into learning the S.T.A.R. Trading System. In my opinion, I have not found a better manually traded forex system than this one.

I really can't make videos while trading since I trade full time and I can't volunteer the time to teach this system. If I started to answer one question about the system, I would then be swimming in thousands of questions. The only advice I can give is to learn the system using the instructions and watch the videos.

You are right about the star system. You DO have to dedicate time to understand how it works. I dont use it but I do understand the logic behind it. If you are serious about trading for a living then you have to put in the time and understand the system you are trading. I was one of those who used to system hop, then after three years of getting nowhere, I knew it was time to re-evaluate what I was doing. I decided to to pick out what I gather are the best bits form all the sytems I've purchased and now I have a system that works for me. My system is simple enough with S/R, Fibs, volume and potential Reversal areas.

For those that are looking for a good system and are willing to learn the concepts, then I can recommend Shamus's Smart VSA by pipbuilders.
