MetaCrazy Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 Re: req:robover Its martingdale. Follow the trades carefully in the forward test that he shows. Cheers does not look like a straight martingale. sometimes you see a doubling of tots but it happens after the first lost trade is closed. i'm looking at the eurusd forward statement. sometimes it starts with a higher lot, closes it, and then opens 1/2 the previous lot size. take a look at the last four trades. looks like an interesting EA. irada Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Re: req:robover Hi, Actually I have try look into the code, in my opinion this good ea, but it seem it need optimizing regularly. But the good news is the author will do optimize regularly. Here the sample file that will access from this ea to their website before get trade: USDJPY;85;4;3;5;4;65;8;3;0;1;1;26.4;29;3;20;2681.38823733;17;-414.02812658;11;1268434799;83;28;5685; Optimised on 2010.03.12 over 83 Days ; version Robovore-1.19 USDCHF;70;10;3;5;4;68;8;3;7;1;1;19.6;32;4;20;3094.38;20;-428.386;15;1268956799;80;35; back test run on 2010.03.19 over 79 Days ; Robovore version Robovore-full-opti-1.21 EURUSD;125;20;3;5;4;41;8;3;6;1;1;16;24;8;20;5482.29;34;-1052.36;17;1268956799;83;51; back test run on 2010.03.19 over 79 Days ; Robovore version Robovore-full-opti-1.21 GBPUSD;15;3;3;5;4;80;8;3;5;1;1;18;8;8;20;4788.02;25;-1339.28;12;1269035999;79;37; back test run on 2010.03.19 over 79 Days ; Robovore version Robovore-full-opti-1.21 Off course in other side, this is bad news for the coder, let say we have do education, probably we will loose the optimization data from the author. saendee Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 Re: req:robover 8-) this is not a expensive EA if it trades as stated ROBOVER IQ has a monthly subscription 29 usd :shand: Quote
hitescape Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 Re: req:robover I purchased the IQ version and have it running on demo. I have written the author several times and he is very responsive and included a special set-up for my vps that does not allow the execution of installation programs. He created a ziped version that he included with the 2 updates (V 1.21 is the most recent). It is not a martingale trading system and he has explained his optimization scenario and if that is what he truly does, he is not curve fitting. It is refreshing in that each trade risks no more than 1% of the account balance unlike the scalpers that put 10% - 20% of your account into play on each trade. I will try to upload an educated version of version 1.19 next week. I don't have any of the other versions cracked. Here is a link to its performance: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/hitescape/robovore-iq/23394 There is a regular version that does not come with the updated set files that appears to have a very reasonable return but only live testing will tell. hitescape Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Sorry guys and gals. I can't be sure that posting an educated version won't cause the developer to change everything. Maybe someone will buy the non- IQ version as it doesn't have to check with the server to get updated parameters. Quote
metalriff Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Forward tests on site still look good, low risk too. Quote
MetaCrazy Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 i contacted the developer and both the IQ and the regular version get updated settings. the difference is that the IQ version gets its optimized settings tweaked by data results gotten from a group of live traders account that are connected to his server. the regular version just gets the optimized settings from doing optimization runs.
