Manual trading backtest???

Hello,

i found now some manual trading systems.

I could try them in demo mode for sure but can i make somethink like a backtest?

let the time run from a year ago and trade manually?

Because i read in a few posts that some guys have backtestet and so on...

You need to run a simulation with historical data, and simulate it that way in other words take the charts back in time, so you can not see beyond "now".

 

I know of 1 piece of software that does this that is Market Analyser 2000. An Australian company based in Brisbane. Not sure if they do Forex as I used this for the ASX. I don't believe MT has the capacity to do this. Maybe other people can give us an insight to other pieces of software that you can go back into history and trade as you would live.
