But i saw one on the 5th of November. Usually I see only small losses of some pips. But often this ea opens 10 positions at the same time. And in November all this 10 positions were closed with 200 pips loss. This are 2000 pips ! You should consider it with you money management because it could be the next trade which wipes out your account. If I had, I really would've risked running HiRider to recoup the losses :P @Simoniex: Did you backtest it on a GMT +1 broker and get a decent equity curve? I saw a comment here somewhere that it didn't do too well on a GMT +0 broker, even if the overall year ended in profit, because by the end of the year it was just giving profit away. I'm very serious on this one. The problem is, i, so far, with birts version, dont have any trades either on demo or in live. This is sux. But i suppose i shouldn;t have any trades, chemie will post here when new trades for hirider come. When i find the time to modify it to my liking i will post the modified version here so everybody can have a go at back testing that. Did you isolate straasha from fusion and run a backtest on that? That would show how good it really is. Their claims are that it is the perfect martingale, which could be true. I've only ran hirider/fusion on alpari uk back test and hirider has 10 straight stop losses hit on feb 5th, 2010 and a second time in 2009. i'm not at home right now so i cant check the exact dates. it didnt blow up the account, just huge losses Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

HiRider opens numerous trades in succession. System uses large Stop Loss. Example, Strategy #2 uses 210 pip stop loss. One adverse reaction could cause large account damage. Slinger Posted February 18, 2010 Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 Re: Fusion v1.1a I tried it on Forex.com M5 data for the past several months - it took one good 80% drawdown dive. Don't remember how many orders it was but I think it was 5+ simultaneous hits on a 210 pip stop loss. On the other hand, I didn't see the more recent disaster that some people are talking about. That might just be a difference between brokers. HiRider's trades really are pretty bad if you actually look at them. If it doesn't come back for a 12 pip profit before going more than 210 pips against you then I think that's just luck. The problem is that it has a tendency to open a lot of simultaneous trades in the same direction at approximately the same time. That means that if things go bad for it and the price decides to trend in the other direction, then you're pretty much doomed. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
