It is possible or not to code this for MetaTrader 4/5 platform? :o ;) I think that would be great tool for all to use.

If you use MT4, you can load intraday / eod MT4 charts by converting them to metastock format then analyzing divergence on MetaStock using this plugin. Just use any of the included divergence templates. :)

Unfortunately, I am not expert coder ;) But maybe someone can convert the formula. Meanwhile, I simply load MT4 charts, convert them to MS, and read them in MetaStock. It's a painful progress, but at least it's something :-?

Hi Dreamy,

 

Great to have some metastock expert to guide me.

From the toolkit, we have the following 04 options in the exploration

 

1.Divergence MACDH - Major / Minor Divergence Long / Short

signals, and other data.

2. Divergence MACDH Custom - Major / Minor Divergence Long / Short

signals uses fully-adjustable custom MACDH.

3. Divergence MACDH Profit% - Profit% Long & Short exploration.

Allows ranking of% profit performance.

4. Divergence All-In-One signals - 112 types of Divergence Long / Short

 

Here are my questions, hope to get some enlighten light from you.

 

a. Which one do I choose to use from the above 4 ? Why

 

b. For example, if we take the first 1. Divergence MACDH , is there

any modification that we need to do in the filter tab, there is a cut-off

date that we might have to fill in, right ? Any other options to change ?

 

c. If I scan data based on week timeframe (week chart), is there any need

to change any of the setting beside the exploration periodicity to weekly ?

 

d. After scanning, how can I check on the chart that divergence is coming on

the chart, what do i need to configure on the chart.

 

e. Any site or document that I can learn more on this toolkit.
