dreamy Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 Re: Use of rapid*share You are right actually! Rapidshare.....Sometime back, I was not able to download large files because of their limits but I was able to download small files without a problem. Recently, they even put limits on any file regardless of size; with many more limitations. It makes it impossible for anyone without a premium account to get anything on there. I think they are not wise, the competition is rising.. 4shared, hotfile, filefactory, mediafire, depositfiles, and more.. some of them without any limitations, I am sure they are losing business. We do not care! We will always have mirrors \m/ Quote
bobtom55 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Re: Use of rapid*share I recommend uploading to some of these or similar ones: Multiuplo@d.com Sh@rebee.com Uplo2dmirrors.com uplo@dground.com These all Mirror to several sites. This gives the person more options to download. Thanks, Bob Quote
robotfx2 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Re: Use of rapid*share You can use Hide Ip software or IP changer to trick Rapidshare So you can download anytime from RS Quote
tmaccorm Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Re: Use of rapid*share Thanks for the ideas. Not sure how to implement the last strategy i.e., to hide IP software or IP changer. Instructions would be greatly appreciated. Quote
Starting Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Re: Use of rapid*share I now started to be dissapointed of 4shared service too. They tell me their servers are busy. That was not the case in 2009, apparently they have bigger audience than they can provide satisfactory service to. Rapidshare is indeed not a fun. And those sites creating rapidshare premium links are also not stable for years. Most of them live because of donations or as just a generous help of site creator to those who eager to get their file from rapidshare with no waiting time or other limits. I used to have such a list of working services and now all of them (5 or 6) are just disapeared and they domain names are on sale. Quote

Some free VPN providers: http://www.packetix.net/en/ http://cyberghost.natado.com/?language=en http://anchorfree.com/downloads/hotspot-shield/ I personally use HotspotShield and can confirm that it works, unfortunately it could be slow sometimes. It can be also useful to access hulu.com and similar sites if you are located outside USA. Quote
