Instead of just buying or selling in one direction from the start.. these systems "hedge" the trade by entering on both sides and keep both trades (no profit made here) until the market "decides" to go in one direction and then loses one arm of the trade. The question is - what makes these developers believe that just because the market is going one way it will continue to do so? Simply idiotic..
