The Forexwonder is crap if you don´t have the special settings from 4xProject.

I just backtested it for 2009 with the forward-test-settings from 4xProject and the results are 42% profit from Jan-2009 until Nov-2009. Drawdown more than 50%.

These are not the settings they use on the live-account at 4xProject.

 

Here you have the original Forexwonder with original Manual, which says "only use on EURUSD 1H"

Please find the special settings which Zeno uses at 4xProject and share them, because he put it on a live-account, so it must be profitable.

Without these settings it is a bad EA.

Sorry , loulou,

these are the settings I used for the backtest which bring bad results.

But these are not the settings they use on their live-account, I guess.

 

If anybody has the settings for the live-account, please share.

Exclamation Pseudocarcharias (Forex Wonder)

LIVE Account

 

Pair: EURUSD

Timeframe: H1

 

We use the Pseudocarcharias V102 as available in the normal download section.

 

Settings:

All settings are like in the Forex-Wonder setup beside the moneymanagement functions.

Multiplier1, Multiplier2, Multiplier3: These settings define the multiplier used for the lotsize of the additional trades. As this means increased risk we decided to use a value of 1 for all 3 multipliers so the robot will always trade with the same lotsize.

Lotsize considerations. The built in money management does not care about the risk involved it's more a leverage based calculation. Pseudocarcharias has a stoploss of 350 pips for it's trades and as we see in backtests it needs that room. This means on a 1k account for 5% of risk per trade the lotsize would be 0.0143 lots. But we need to keep in mind that the EA opens up to 4 trades at the same time what would result in an overall risk of 20%.

Therefore we decided to go with 0.01 lots per 1k which means a risk of 3.5% per trade.

 

In the meantime we will start an internal project to do some changes in the ea, make it ecn compatible and add correct money managment.
