I don't know how Ross hooks are used in this scalping system because I didn't download the original system.

An OBOS indicator is an OB=OverBought , OS=OverSold indicator.

You can use the Stoch-indicator or the RSI for detecting overbought/oversold levels.

 

There are some variations of an OBOS-indicator based on Stoch here

It gives errors when compiling it and I have no idea how to fix it.

I am sure that a good programmer here can easily fix it. :)

That indicator isn't as simple to fix as it may seem. It was written for some testing software which uses its own language and will need to be completely re-written for MT4.

 

I think we need to see the original system to understand what sort of OBOS indicator was being used as I suspect that one exists for MT4 though probably has a different name.
