Abdulisback
Re: PIPS MINER EA Guys, As I said before, this EA used to get the timming off the pipminer's server website,, now it is on its own, after educating it,,, we need to solve this problem by understanding how timming is calculated. Otherwise, it wont performe as original.

fx4a
Re: PIPS MINER EA Seems to be working Ok for me.. My broker is + 2 GMT so I put 2 in for London time shift..Started trading when London opened. Up about 200 pips, with one trade still floating. Back tests for the last month show .. Bars in test 4996 Ticks modelled 1053114 Modelling quality 90.00% Mismatched charts errors 4 Initial deposit 1000.00 Total net profit 198.77 Gross profit 227.95 Gross loss -29.17 Profit factor 7.81 Expected payoff 3.82 Absolute drawdown 83.43 Maximal drawdown 207.59 (18.47%) Relative drawdown 18.47% (207.59) Total trades 52 Short positions (won %) 26 (92.31%) Long positions (won %) 26 (100.00%) Profit trades (% of total) 50 (96.15%) Loss trades (% of total) 2 (3.85%) Largest profit trade 32.03 loss trade -28.99 Average profit trade 4.56 loss trade -14.59 Maximum consecutive wins (profit in money) 30 (119.95) consecutive losses (loss in money) 1 (-28.99) Maximal consecutive profit (count of wins) 119.95 (30) consecutive loss (count of losses) -28.99 (1) Average consecutive wins 25 consecutive losses 1 .......................................................................... Changing SL to 100... Much better R/R because more winners with increased lot sizing. And also this gi_200 = 100 * li_0; (Not sure what this does, but is related to SL and lot size..Somebody double check) Bars in test 4996 Ticks modelled 1053114 Modelling quality 90.00% Mismatched charts errors 4 Initial deposit 1000.00 Total net profit 397.57 Gross profit 507.74 Gross loss -110.17 Profit factor 4.61 Expected payoff 6.41 Absolute drawdown 40.09 Maximal drawdown 189.88 (16.51%) Relative drawdown 16.51% (189.88) Total trades 62 Short positions (won %) 26 (69.23%) Long positions (won %) 36 (88.89%) Profit trades (% of total) 50 (80.65%) Loss trades (% of total) 12 (19.35%) Largest profit trade 32.00 loss trade -10.01 Average profit trade 10.15 loss trade -9.18 Maximum consecutive wins (profit in money) 20 (107.91) consecutive losses (loss in money) 6 (-60.00) Maximal consecutive profit (count of wins) 223.82 (14) consecutive loss (count of losses) -60.00 (6) Average consecutive wins 10 consecutive losses

fx4a
Re: PIPS MINER EA fx4a, how do i change the stoploss to 100 ? thanks Need to change every instance of int gi_200 = 290;. I ran back test for 7 months, and compared with original. Original is more profitable, but my tick data not good. I am using EEv1.3 and on demo this week has performed very well. Worth further trialling.
