Hi there all,

 

I use the following indicators to trade fantastically on 1H chart.

1. ATR projections

2. alligator

3. news calender

4. EMA 120 and 50 on 4h

THE WAY YOU TRADE IT IS:

Strategy1:

 

Set your Buy or sell limits around the first ATR levels. at the bottom Buy limits and at the top sell limits.

your targets will be the average middle number of ATR projections(trading range) for last 3 days for that pair. make sure that there is now major news announcements for that day. If there is one set your targets tighter.

Second strategy:

 

Buy and sell together when price has reached the middle of the range preferably before the London session and never during US session specially late hours of this session.

 

Targets are the first levels of the projected ATRs.

 

For both strategies set SL couple of pips beyond the 3th ATR levels.

for both strategies you can choose to only trade in trend direction. the way to do it is to check EMA120 and 50 on 4H chart. Price if below 50 and 120 trade only shorts and above long. in between no trades.

ATR projections isn't an indicator widely available so if you don't post it the whole thread is meaningless

Now template and pictures. rename the extension mq4 to tpl to use the template.

The tric to this system is to wait till the price has gone beyond the 50EMA and preferably beyond 120 EMA before you buy or sell. the MAX's 233 EMA functions as the price base. have look and you will understand the system visually.

 

please note that this system has been best tested on 15M chart and fast moving pairs like GBPUSD with average 200 PIps a day range and beyond.

Strange, I put template on the chart, and my terminal is shut down. I try it few times and the same.

The template file atrTemplate.mq4 should be renamed atrTemplate.tpl and placed in the templates directory. I have not tried this but when I look at the file with notepad it is not an indicator (mq4) but a template.
