Hi Shakerz, thanks for posting your results. Well done ;)

 

I'd like to follow your ADT settings, I am with FXCM, and their server GMT offset is +1

 

Can you advise how I should do the time settings to achieve the 21 - 1 time frame as you have? I get a bit confused with the GMT offsets of many brokers and how to set for ADT. I hope you don't mind me asking you for help with this, but I know it can make a very big difference to results if I get it wrong.

Shakerz, I see you are using Logic 3 for EURUSD, which is not the original Logic from MD for this pair. What made you decide to use Logic 3? Everyone else is using Logic 1

I'm use logic 3 for EURUSD because this logic is more safe and I already use logic 1 for droid tactics :)

So I've 2 logic for the same pairs.

 

For the GMT Offset meridian, see the post to Mao74, it's the same settings but 20-0

On my demo, I will test more large hours : 19h-23h and 1h-5h (GMT). Exactly same that Droid Tactics.

Good idea Shakerz, I was wondering about that time frame. I have very good results using MD ADT on the +4hr chart, (best of all of charts). I get nervous with the thought of +6hrs in so many charts @-)

Would be very interested to know how the tests work out.

You can actually do this, but only in MegadroidPro XE.

 

You need to modify a custom logic set and tinker with the trailing stop in there.

 

Interesting session of trading. A lot of pairs did well until the GBP went berserk. This caused the EURGBP to take a big loss, and the GBPUSD to hang open with a fairly large drawdown. So far, only a little bit of profit has been eked out. Should the GBPUSD lose, I'll be actually looking forward to seeing what happens as recovery mode starts up on it!

Hi,

 

I take loss on EG too and GU is still hanging in a big loss almost wiping out all the profits for today. One question to the coders and experts here, inorder to use ADT with MD pro do we still need to attach profile reset indicator in the ADT 5 to the chart or just manually inserting the GMT offset would be fine.

 

I think the purpose of profile reset thing is to make the robot aware of other charts open on the same currency so that it does not open trades twice (sth like that).

 

Anyhow I appreciate if someone can help or guide me on that specially those that are using ADT with MDpro for pairs other than EU.

I use 1,3,2,3 and 3,5,4,5 for the override trade time values for ADT.

I'm actually considering doing an XE v1.3 to remove the James modB ADT stuff because I think it's responsible for a lot of problems.

 

I took a big loss on EURGBP, and GBPUSD has very big drawdown too. Because I set GU bigger lot size which made things worse.

 

So far the GBPUSD has never lost for me on a live account, so this may well be the first one. I'm looking forward to it losing because it is really accurate a lot of the time, so an increase in lot size will more than recover most of what it lost anyway.

As for the EURGBP, well -- that's life I guess.

 

In fact for MDP, this has been a really rotten trading month. Some big losses and not enough profitable trades to make significant profit. Last session was a good session, but it ends up suffering a big loss and potentially a second one X-(

Still profitable and up for the month, but not by much at all.

 

Nice results with Alpari UK on demo, but let me just say that live is not as profitable because of the bastard spreads they have these days.

Could you please summarize your settings in one post? 21 to 1 trading hour is GMT time or Alpari UK server time?

 

Why you did not get hit on EURGBP and GBPUSD tonight? So strange.

 

Accouding your trading statement, you stated trading at 19:00 and ended trading at 2:00am?

Just a word of caution: keep your success stories in this forum and for God´s sake, don´t brag about it to everbody and his brother´s uncle about it! We already have 6000 members as it is, so if 40000 are using MDP like FAP, it will be rendered just as useless in 6 months. Just enjoy and keep quiet about it in the real world outside.

ShaKerZ thank you. I only have one more question - the MDPro version posted above, can you use one for all charts or does it crash so you need to make lots of versions, 1 for each pair?

 

As for fapturbo...I have been using this with good success lately. I use version 16 which I posted the uneducated version and someone kindly educated on USDCAD and EURCHF. I have paid for it but V16 is much better.
