firstly many thanks to don, bbrain and everyone else for their hard work on this..you guys are far cleverer than I ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^

 

I can give you links to my results and am keen for any comments and advice, if i have to take down a link sometimes during the uk biz hours they will be back up again overnight.

 

I've been running four setups two using mdv1.1a multipair and two using mdproee_bbrv07, one of each using default times and one of each using three additional time periods. You may notice that i didn't include eurusd with multipair ..variable times as i have these running on three different live accounts which i haven't done stats for yet (i feel a bit stupid just not including it with everything else originally):

Robin, your stats are not public. You need to make either public (settings>accounts>edit), or make invitations (settings>invitations) for each statistics page you want to share.

well the actual gmt is as follows:

 

default -2 = 1900 and 2000 gmt

default = 2100 and 2200 gmt

default +2 = 0100 and 0200 gmt

default +6 = 0300 and 0400 gmt

 

when setting these don't forget your own broker's offsets

Todays trades on TDFX demo +115pips, but more importantly something strange happened on my live account. While demo was trading Ok (see bellow) I got this massage on ea info panel on live chart "trying to connect to broker..." and EA didn't make a single trade. When I restarted MT4 it imediately opened trade (at 1.30am???) and it was a looser (close it manualy at -7pips, but it would hit 60pip SL if I let it run). Do you think broker is playing trix on me?

Hi, I use GMT+1 (manual), authors recomendation is GMT+2 but I find it less risky at +1 at the moment (hardly any loss). I'm 70% up on my demo account in three months (starting balance 3000$), trading 0.1 standard lot. I wish live account would work so well :-??

you are right. GMToffset is +1 not +2,,I asked their customer support and they confirmed its +1.

Uniken, my TDFX live account is having the same server problems. Connection has dropped for two nights now. My two other live Alpari accounts have not dropped, and they are all on ForexVPS. It is definately a TDFX problem, not internet connection from VPS.

The same bot has traded on EURUSD Alpari Live multiple times since then. Maybe you need to look at a different broker for scalping.

I am afraid, but the link doesn’t work. All I got was “Object not found!” message.

 

In fact, I was able to locate “MD_1.11a_Multipair~” posted on May 20. Hope this is the same version you are using. Just one question! Do you run the EA on 7 currency symbols using four different time slots, all 28 charts, in a single instance of MT4 terminal? I was wondering how many charts we can put on a single MT4, anyway.
