Is that possible... Can anyone give me any ideas where to start? Firstly, you need to do a lot of reading... learning... and practicing.. demoing... look for the right system.. Secondly, treat it seriously as a business.. we are not entering into a casino.. we are doing business so the ultimate goal is to make money consistently.. Thirdly, stay away from fear and grid.. Last but not Least pray... Good luck.. :-bd
qwert321
Re: Help starting with Forex Try babypips and forexfactory and other forums to get an idea of what the forex market is about and proceed from there. Don't expect to trade full time immediately and make lots of money out of it.

After that you can open a Demo account and start practicing what you have learned.

posterx
Re: Help starting with Forex Making money in forex is not an easy task. It takes years to become a consistent trader. Don't trade when you have money issues. Find another job. When your situation gets better, then trade. You can learn forex though, but don't rely on it for now. hallmastersonllc
Re: Help starting with Forex What I have heard is that a good living can be made trading FX but like I have said before elsewhere, you must tread lightly until you learn the business and know what you are doing. Babypips.com is a great site. Also, check out forexpeacearmy to research brokers and other things.

I think mostly Good EA only works for some period, after that, they need to be adjusted with the market again. And for forex course.. actually you can learn from some good website or forum like in here or babypips.. and also sometimes i think that my losses are my forex course's fee :D Experience is still the best teacher 8-)
abuamira
Re: Help starting with Forex to trade Forex successfully it will take time, knowledge and experiece...read..read...read if you want to get started in forex, first you really need to know who you are up against. visit this site and read and watch the videos. http://www.marketmanipulation.com Understand these terms Smart Money and the Herd and which side of the fence you want to be on. a couple of other points, do some research on the various currencies and pick one that you would like to trade. Different currencies react differently in different time frames and to news anouncements. so find one that is suitable to you and trade only one. Starting off and trying to trade multiple currencies will just put your head in a spin. Next you need to find a system that works for you. I'll leave that you to find and discover. There are many posted here in the forum. Once you have your system, don't look back thru the charts and say, well if I entered here, I would have profited and If I entered here I would have lost. Use a trading simulator and test your strategy, this will give you almost the same feeling as forward testing but the difference is that you can save hours of time. you can search for LFH Forex Simulator, there maybe others, but this one I use and it works fine. ok good luck regards
pilotlife
Re: Help starting with Forex Just like any other profession - it takes time. No one becomes a doctor over night or after a month. Dedication and interest are the key factors. Its not rocket science. Do ur homework, everything u need is possible to find on internet. Im currently doing all of this myself, so - Good luck! to both (all) of us newbies. Brgds/Pilotlife

Is that possible... Can anyone give me any ideas where to start? oh dear im new here and i just found my way to this forum. I believe that you are just jumping onto the forex ship without learning what is it and its a taboo. I suggest that you read up and know the potential risks before sinking too deep into it and lose your savings as well
Ajata
Re: Help starting with Forex Take your time and learn, figure out what it is all about and see if you can make money here, dont just jump in without proper knowledge and training or you will lose money, many have done it in past. johndata
Re: Help starting with Forex Hello everyone, I'm totally new to Forex... I have lost my job and want to make money through Forex... Is that possible... Can anyone give me any ideas where to start? If you haven't enough money for living, search for a new job. As you 'll learn ""you can't win with scared money"". That mean that you can't trade with money you have for family, food, bills, etc. Don't learn it the hard way. So, get a job and 2-3 hours a day practice with very small money(real account), till you start to earn money.

abuamira
Re: Help starting with Forex "Re: Help starting with Forex my problem i have not enough time beside my job, i hope to find a profitable day trading system which me cost 10 Minutes in the morning" Best thing to do in this scenario is to be trading longer Time Frames, such as the 4 Hour time frame. Finding a system that's right for you will take time. As I suggested before, use a trading simulator. You can test and practice various strategies on the weekend or when your off work, and it'll be as if you are trading live. You can trade the span of an entire day in about couple hours of time. Because in the simulator you can accelerate and decelerate the speed of the chart. Also the nice benefit you can trade various scenarios and what if's on the same instance and see the out comes. Whereas on live trading you only can do it once. try it. For someone short on time this is a time saver method for you. regards
fs740
Re: Help starting with Forex I'd recommend first just focusing on the basics. Learn about exactly what the forex market is. Then learn how to trade it. Try to find a system or method that matches your personality. If you want to go the route of an EA, you can do that too, but I prefer to do my own trading. Billy1713006094
Re: Help starting with Forex Would recommend learning how to manual trade first on demo find a strategy you are comfortable with, and stick with it, also realize you will lose money but use stop loss, and proper risk to reward money management you will be fine. Read somewhere if you use 2 to 1 reward to risk ratio you need just a 40% win ratio to come out ahead! :)
