Found the source here: h**p://slil.ru/27743560 Here's a version that's partially translated: h**p://www.forexsharing.com/614760 I haven't done any backtesting, but I'm currently forward testing it on a bunch of pairs on a PFG Best demo account to see what works and what doesn't. Enjoy! \m/
mike99 Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Re: VF B00merang I am not happy with its backtesting. You can find the test reports from its official website: http://www.victorious-forex.com/images2/Boomerang_19.03.2009.htm http://www.victorious-forex.com/images2/Boomerang_19.03.2009-2.htm http://www.victorious-forex.com/images2/Boomerang_19.03.2009-3.htm http://www.victorious-forex.com/images2/Boomerang_22.01.2008.htm http://www.victorious-forex.com/images2/Boomerang_22.01.2008-2.htm Max Drawdown is around 35~40% which is unacceptable. Winning rate is around 55%. How's the forwad testing going?
nissefar Posted June 29, 2009 Author Report Posted June 29, 2009 Re: VF B00merang Thanks for testing! :) Agreed, the drawdown is worrying. Here's my forward test statement, running on a bunch of different pairs on Go Markets. Just breaking even so far: http://goboomeraing.mt4live.com/ All settings are default. I'll just leave it running for a while, I'll revisit this thread in a couple of weeks with some preliminary analysis.
