Advanced EA

I came across this EA and I think it has some error in code, I see in settings three TP and I think it should open new trade in the same direction when it hit first TP but it doesnt, I get some Order Error in journal also and no go for 5 digit broker.

 

In download link(there is no attachment option for this thread)is code and strategy tester for April, I find it best on EURUSD M15.

 

Can someone check the code please?

Hi theSecret,

I haved added the 5 digit support which got rid of OrderSend error. There is still OrderModify error1 error which is harmless, I don't bother to fix it because the backtest showing mediocre results. Cheers

Interesting, I backtested again using IBFX 4 digits, do not encounter those errors. Error 131 means wrong lot size. Error 4107 means invalid price. What external parameters did you change?

did you delete the ex4 file or re-compile this newest version inside your editor before re-starting MT4?? you may still be running the old version..

Hi, I did some backtest, it uses martingale to keep doubling up the lots, and in less than 1 year, it blew up the account up. This EA really does not worth the effort to fix up..

yes. agreed. i looked at it too. imo martingale and grid traders should be banned all together, theyre nothing but trouble!
