ubimiller Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 Re: anyone have experience. market timing and the fed I agree. most people tend to stay away from that kind of stuff unless you really know what ur doing. Banks are very clever at managing such things.
angel9913 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 Re: anyone have experience. market timing and the fed Banks also have inside info. They tend to trade ahead of any news release...
globalinvestor321 Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 Re: anyone have experience. market timing and the fed In 10 years of trading on the USA Markets, I never found such reliable incidator for Fed. Other than, instinct.
imatache Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Re: anyone have experience. market timing and the fed All Reuters subscribers receive a headstart when it comes to big news. They get the info seconds before the "Consumer" market receives it, quickly place their orders, which is why the high volatility before you get to read the news. Most banks use Reuters.
fx2248 Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Re: anyone have experience. market timing and the fed I find it best to stay out during news releases as the market becomes volatile. I mainly follow Tech Analysis and hence follow what the big guys are doing

Mentos Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 Re: anyone have experience. market timing and the fed Insider info trading is it right or wrong legally? ;) :o :( All is fair in forex. If you subscribe to Reuters, you'll get all the data about 1 to 2 minutes earlier then everybody else. Just another pippin master :):)
