Barracuda Russian GBPUSD M5 scalper - looks good!

Hi,

I found this EA and backtested it on GBPUSD M5 and to my surprise it looks decent (see backtest screenshot in RAR archive). EA is decompiled already. I am posting it here to allow other members to test it and give their opinion. It seems that it is date locked beyond March 2009 so I am looking at the code to fix it. Maybe somebody can beat me to it?

I made a backtest, but nothing happened :-/

 

Is it backtest compatible or just I should make forward test in a demo account?

Start the backtest from a date before April 2009, like Feb 01- 2009 til current on GBPUSD M5. It will run with default settings. As I said it is locked after March 2009 and the code needs to be fixed so it trades after this time.

Latest version with PDF manual in Ukrainian. Can someone decompile the latest pls? Seems to use v.224 decompiler.

As I read on Russian forum, this guy shows forward tests from more sophisticated EA that he shared. So be careful. Ukrainians are all like this (including myself) ;))

As I read on Russian forum, this guy shows forward tests from more sophisticated EA that he shared. So be careful. Ukrainians are all like this (including myself) ;))

Thank you for posting this. It seems that this EA is a big scam. If you don't add a Stoploss then it will just hold off trades as it trades only to blow up at the end with a huge loss. If a SL is added even 100 pips then it loses big. Looks like we need to stop wasting time on this and look at other more promising EAs.

As a matter of protection, certain parameters were coded in this EA depending on account type (Demo, REal), current date and account number.

 

These protections take 80-100 lines of code, and that man who "cured" it could miss some parameters so it only fails now.

 

If you're really interested, I would suggest if smb skilled enough would "cure" it from initial ex4.

 

I've heard 2-3 months ago that this EA is a perfect loser. However new version may work better.

Done. Please test it. It definitely needs optimizations. Once again the author confirmed today that he did not release his full latest version, so IMHO this is a B/S worth no attention.
