The time where the MT4 shows on the market watch. Now, it is 15:53 on my market watch.

So you are using this ea in late asia, into London, and into ny time, finishing trading at ny lunch time at 1 pm est?

 

Im trying to get the settings right here. I use forex.com as well but even though my account is under UK regulations, it is still in the US, so my server time is based on NY time. My market watch time is 12:46, so GMT +4 due to Daylight Savings

actually reading your above post with server time, it would be equivalent to starting the ea at 2 PM EST and shutting it down at 5AM EST. SO it would work thru Asia and beginning of London session then.

Haha... I change a little code to do reversed entry in this EA.

But.... there is a minor major problems.

 

It opened up too many trades. Is there someone who is good in programming out there?

Now, I temporary solve it by setting TradePerBar = True

@ crushbeat, I use fxpro, because it is the only one that profit within my diversification broker of this EA. I dont know why either. now I also forward testing at fxcbs because it has best rate at adequate min margin.

 

@ chank: keep the faith bro, i also not good at programming so I ask my friend how to reverse it. I hope it can be done soon.

Thanks for your help. Hahha.. actually, I have quite a number of things to change.. But, generally, I reverse entry which I have tested yesterday is quite promising. Except for my greedy part to trade for 24 hours.... hahahahahahaha....

 

But generally speaking, trading time from 18hrs to 9 is so far the best timing I have.

 

I am now forward testing it from 18 hrs to 15 hrs.

 

For those who are a risk taker, I will post the EA which I have amended for your testing . (At your own risk. Hahahahaha)

I am using Grail23R (Which I have post earlier) for the forward testing.

I have set UseATR_SL to false

SL = 200 pips.

 

Might be thinking of reducing further.

 

Hmmm.... Seems that from 12hrs onwards, all the trades seems exciting & lots of heart attack (But in the end profits, always super near to the SL before retracing back)... Hahahahha..

 

So better not watch it....

Hi all,

 

Just realise the start & end time is depend on broker server timing (As per my statement above, hope u can understand). Not market watch.

Cause I had set my end time at 15hrs. But, it still continue to trade. When I change it to broker timing, put in 14hrs, the trade stop.

 

So beware of it.

 

So far so good.

Think I will stick to this timing to trade.

 

From GMT 18hrs to 0hrs (Think for me, Start time is 17hrs, End Time is 23hrs)

From GMT 3hrs to 15hrs (Think for me, Start time is 2hrs, End time is 14hrs)

 

Hope all can understand.

Hi all, here is my trades for today using Grail23R. There is a strange things. Which is the -$1.96. It is not yet my stop loss. But, it closed by itself. Wonder y.

 

Anyway, USDJPY, is really a dangerous pair. Most of the time, it goes near SL before retrace.

Maybe it is because the last week of the month.

Indeed it is true. But, still if I think profit can be make with this system (Not as profitable as MD)...

 

Trying to tune it better. Trading it from 18hrs to 23 hrs... get get a good profit....

Does anyone who developed this Robot? Or if it's a free release? Haven't been able to find much information about it. I've looked at the codebase site and I figure that's free also.

Or does anyone know this Robots name? Is it just Grail2? Or not the Holy Grail robot or something different.
