Hi guys,

I wanted to share some info that the developers at HarvardBoys.com send out about their upcoming EA. The statistics for the EA look pretty impressive and we need to be on the lookout for when the EA comes out in the next few days. Maybe they will offer a time-limited demo. You may want to email them and ask how to get the EA, if a demo is available and how much it costs. Initially I thought that since it trades the EURGBP during Asia it is another FAPTurbo clone, but looking at how it takes winners vs. the losers - it looks much different and much better.

Good catch Norm! It looks like a perfect "Your_lucky" 2.0 ripoff with few tweaks! The rip-off artist was too lazy to even change the extern declaration names ;) What a loser!! No better than those leeches on eBay that sell other people's code for cash...

Harvard Boys Forex EA Update.

 

 

Wow, we have been busy. This whole EA thing has gotten our brains moving quite a bit up here. As you know, we like to keep things clean and simple. Getting this code cleaned up and in its purest form has been a bit of a daunting task.

Not only this, but we have learned of the various risks to selling large volume and or unprotected EA's. Apparently when you give one away and it spreads out among the forex community, it looses it effectiveness or gets blocked all together by brokers. This can also happen if you only sell a few and they are not properly secured and then they leak out and everyone gets hold of a copy.

Well we actually brought in a guy to help us with that. Apparently there is a way to keep the code locked and un-hackable but it uses a different programming language. We have been in discussion with him going over various ways to protect this EA from being leaked. We do this because if we do offer it, we did mention there will be only a limited few available. For this reason we cannot have people trying to open it up and rename it and sell it off. From what we gather this is common these days.

Well, long story short. We have found a way to lock these files that will basically be impenetrable. Even if someone does happen to get in, the code will not make sense and will not be a typical EA. The EA itself will make script calls to other files and would basically make it like trying to find a needle in a hay stack to figure out how to hack the EA. This process is going to be very expensive and will cost us more than we can sell it for, but instead of cutting corners and selling something that could be ruined by others, we are going to take the extra steps to cover yours and our investment. Again this is all depending on if we actually release this. We are also thinking about only letting 5 – 10 of these out considering the profitability of the system, we do not want many of these floating around out there.

Some people are still asking how much. We honestly do not know. We really need to know exactly what it will cost us to compile this EA securely and also be able to pay the people helping create it. I can tell you though that no matter what, if you do happen to get it, it will be worth it.

We are still entertaining offers at the moment just trying to get a feel for what people expect to pay or to put people at the top of the list. You can reply to this Email with an offer or just to show your interest and someone will put your name down on the list.

Again though, give us a little time to put this thing together completely and run some tests with this new trailing stop script implemented to see if we can bring these results up or if this is truly as good as it gets.
