Stormin_Norman Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 selling EA's on ebay - has to be dodgy...then again, maybe not. i am forward testing the fexpie EURUSD but it runs on : GBPUSD, EURUSD, EURGBP, USDCHF, USDJPY or USDCAD. 6 different pairs. this is the EA on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290297280854&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123 this is the decompiled EA, i shifted the date (can someone with more programming knowledge check to make sure i did it correctly?) so that the demo doesnt expire, and will keep trading. if we could collect the whole lot of the pairs, it could be a very powerful trading system. http://stashbox.org/513864/Fexpie_v.5.07_EURUSD_1M.mq4 i do not understand it fully, but the initial results i have achieved are similar to those posted on the ebay page. she offers a demo on request. maybe different people could request each different currency pairs and we can decompile + remove the demo limitation to test the whole set of currencies and see how it goes. may i suggest if you are going to apply for a demo, you post up which one u are going to apply for, so we end up with 5 people getting the 5 remaining currency pairs we require? if 5 or so people can do that and post them up we can decompile them and get a $5k system to test! I hate to put a flat tire on this EA but if you run a backtest on EURCHF M5, from 01/01/2009 til now you will see that it is taking some huge losses. Perhaps still worth to take a look at the code and learn something new. Basically, it takes a position.. if it wins, good.. if it does not it takes another one (larger) etc. til it wins.. sometimes the win never comes.. so it takes a HUGE accumulated loss. Just wanted to share my personal experience with it. Regards

Regards do you have a copy? i thought it was designed for the 1 minute graph. so i didnt run it cause the results wouldnt be accurate. it seems to take a 'hedged' opposite position to the current open one. i thought it was worth investigating further nonetheless. Place Fexpie_GBPUSD.ex4 to C:\Program Files\Metatrader folder\experts\ 2. Restart your Metatrader platform and go to Navigator window. You will see Fexpie_GBPUSD in Expert Advisors directory. 3. Open M1 chart for GBPUSD. 4. Attach MetaExpert_fx_GBPUSD to M1 chart for GBPUSD (drag and drop EA to your chart). let's try it...
