Is anyone having this issue of the EA opening the trades but shortly after closes it for a loss; without the target or stops being hit? This happend on a demo acct I was trading the alfaEa on and wasn't sure what's wrong.

Maybe it must lower from 5 spread.

 

Try Fxcast Broker. 4 spread for Usd/Cad

If you have spread as 5, then you have to set the max spread =5.1

code is if spread > 5, then do not trade.

no, I do have the EA. It is common sense for coder. In your EA, you just set the max spread to 5.1 will do.

Here's a forward demo test of this EA, for some strange reason, still the same problems with the trades closing for losses by the EA soon after start.
