Just like every other SR indicator;this indi. works fine in ranging period but it'll lose in trending market.

So don't follow it blindly.

I found this link which gives some basics of MTF. Do click continue till you get to page 3 (mtf3) which has a pdf download of the MTF method. Copy the text from the first two pages as it seems the pdf is a continuation of those two pages. Don't forget to note the pdf read password.
