William1713006271 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Hi there, I'm trying Ubuntu 8.10. Got the CD from ubuntu website. However, I can't play any mp3, dvd, vcd, etc. I can't download via linux as I don't have internet connection on that PC. I've been searching via Google like crazy only to be able to fix the mp3. So I still can't play any VCD or DVD. Any help? Where should I download the stuff? Regards, Quote Ore no Shinka Hikari yo Hayai. Zen Uchi o Nani no Mono Ore no Shinka Chuito Kore Nai. middx58 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 Re: [help] playing DVD with Ubuntu William, I find "GOM Media Player" very useful. It's quite versatile Their Website "http://www.gomlab.com/eng/" states as below - GOM software Free, Simple, Light, It just plays! GOM Media Player, GOM Encoder Regards, Quote
