To enable the DDE from MT$ open tools, then options. Select the server tab and be sure that "Enable DDE server" is checked. I am running Vista Home Premium 64 bit. The tool seems to be working fine. To make it run on XP: 1. install MIG MT4 platform 2. Turn on DDE 3. Install analysis software 4. Run software. You may get an error. In this case turn off MT4 and strenght meter. Run mt4 again and wait 5 minutes then start strength meter. Eventually it will start to run. Comment on meter: After watching it for about 6-7 hours I came to the conclusion that one gets almost the same information from !xMeter MODIFIED OPEN SOURCE. Only flat colorerd lines, and values doesnt changes. I tried several platforms, re-installed software, restart PC...no go. I have XP SP3. I do have a problem with line charts. Until the bar is finished the line continues to move to reflect the last trade. It seems possible that the price can move through the 50SMA triggering an entry, then move back through the 50 SMA. This leaves you with a trade that is not triggered at the end of the bar. Even though he says the method works on all time frames, maybe he sticks with the 5 min because the moves are smaller and the price may be less likely to exceed the 50 SMA by 6 PIPs and reverse. I like the simplicity of this but the end of the line is continually re-painting. This creates a problem for me. Has anyone tried this and determined its value?
