Yes, I noticed that it doesn't work with some brokers (the 5-decimal feeds???). I have tried on my Vista and XP machine but the result is the same. Don't see any currency fields. When DDE is activated on mt4, ForexGrail fails to start. Without DDE it starts but no data is used. I am using with Metatrader platform provided thru WHC Trader. WHC Trader 4 Version 4.00 Build 225 (10 July 2009) Its a Russian broker. I still have the install file for it. I can post it if you like just let me know. The feed from any broker should allow similar results as far as the Gr@il goes. Hope this helps.
