Re: ROBOMINER

Sorry, my bad... Maybe i shouldn't have put the keygen file to confuse people. Both RoboMiner are already educated and you don't need that file at all.

I didn't test those new versions on backtest but i know they both works because i use them live and they go fine.

Re: ROBOMINER

using fx open real account the "pro"version is not open any trade since january.

It must be another problem on your end because:

1- I am using FxOpen with both versions and they go fine.

2- You must confuse something because it is impossible for the Pro version to have traded anything since January simply because RoboMiner Pro exist only since October 4, 2009.

Be sure that DoTrades=True

Re: ROBOMINER

Phoenix, do you have a decent set for pro??? Is it advisable to use pro on ther pairs apart from EC and Audnzd.

Steps to do for those who want to use the Pro version combined with the standard version on AUD/NZD and/or EUR/CHF:

1- Start by reading this link:

http://www.gtshadow.com/forums/showpost.php?p=113&postcount=2

2-The settings to use are somewhere in the Pro manual (some difference between the 2 pairs). Be sure to put the same RangeStart as the one written on your RoboMiner II chart.

3- Be sure Shift=20

4- Be sure you can manage the new drawdown it will provoked.

After that you should start having trades won every 20 pips instead of every 40 pips like before. (Because of the Shift=20 setting) Each EA trading every 40 pips but 20 pips apart from each other.

As for using Pro on other pairs... I really don't know. I never even tried to test it up to date. But i can already tell that the best pairs to test that would be those with close influence market condition. Usually 2 countries very close together. An example would be EUR/CHF or USD/CAD and other close related like that. Those NOT close related like EUR/USD, GBP/USD or USD/JPY and lots of others would probably show disastrous drawdown in backtest and blow the account for sure.

Like i said i didn't test it but i am sure of it. If you test it, let me know if i am right or not. :P

Re: ROBOMINER

sory.

i mean is backtest since january "pro" version did not open any position

but the v218 have no problem

I just tried to backtest the Pro version to see if it works and it worked just fine.

Be sure you have the latest MT4 build 225 installed and, also, maybe you file is corrupt. Try downloading the EA again and reinstalling it from scratch. Also be sure that you download the latest history data before testing. You can also verify that the backtest settings allow it to trade. Other than all that, i am out of ideas to help you make it work.

Re: ROBOMINER

Robominer has a large draw down and trades linger for to long, i demo tested this and it made about $100 a week which is OK but the lot size was to high and i found the trades it took were rather stupid and took days to turn around, if they did turn around. i don't like low/high fishing or trading against the trend 'hoping' for overbought/sold conditions.

Re: ROBOMINER

this EA :berbusa:

dun get cheated by its history data...if you look at floating / opening trade [-O< is a big amount there..

That's the way of grid mathematical trading.

Compare any kind of EA / robot with this one in a long term trading. You will see which is more stable and the winner one.
