Two contests have been already held atForexCup during 2 months of 2013. As a result, 59 best participantsreceived prizes and bonuses totally amounted to more than $6000.

The terms of the contest are standard. On the 1stday of the competition each participant receives a virtual deposit -$5000 with a leverage of 1:100. The main task is to get the biggest profit by the end of the contest. While participating, you will trade on ECN demo account, which provides an additional opportunity to appreciate all the advantages of that FXOpen service.
The participant with the biggest profit by the end of the contest will become a winner.
The more traders participate, the biggerthe prizes will be, because entry fees are included into the prize fund.It is necessary to mention that there are 5 prizes for the most successful traders. Everyone, who increases a start-up deposit by 10% or more, will receive a cash bonus.


There are 5 prizes:
1st place - $256 + 50% from the sum of entry-fees + bonus;
2nd place - $128 + 25% from the sum of entry-fees + bonus;

Results of the last February contest“Guess the course” have been summed up today. Such competitions are verypopular among users of the FXOpen forum. The task of participants wasreally simple – they have had to make the closest prediction for thecourse of GBP/JPY at the end of a trading day on March, 1.

The most accurate prediction was made by a forum user with the nickname Rewt.He presumed the course to stop at 140.40 and in fact the significationof the rate appeared to be 140.52. We congratulate the winner with hisdivination and transfer $30 to his account!

For this once participants have to guess the course of EUR/nzd at the end of the trading day on March, 15. Rates will be accepted until March, 11 and the winner will get a cash prize ($30 to his account) on March, 18!

Terms of the contest:

1. You have to add your forum’s nickname to your bet (for example, nickname – your bet);
2. Spreads between participants’ bets should be noless than 5 points. For example, if there has been already made a betfor 1.2000, all other participants should choose variants not closerthan 1.2005 or 1.1995;
3. It is forbidden to repeat someone else’s rate;
4. Each participant is able to make only one bet;
5. You are not able to change or delete your prediction;

The first spring ForexCup contest

A new contest “FX Market Masters March2013” will be held since March, 18 till April, 12. The prize fund of thetournament amounts to $5000. A winner will become a Manager of a PAMMECN account with the balance of more than $1000!

Another free weekly contest “Profitable WeeK” ended on March 29. No doubt, such competitions are very popular – this time 770 traders from all over the world took part in it.

Apparently, the level of competition was rather high. Nevertheless, the leader, an Indonesian trader with the nickname andree,managed to break away from other participants and take the lead. Basic requirements:
- During the competition each participant should perform the minimum number of trades of the required volume(traditionally: 5 trades of 5 lots’ total volume for the weekly contest and 20 trades of 20 lots’ total volume for the monthly contest);
- After the competition each participant should make at least one post in the corresponding thread of FXOpen Forum (otherwise prizes and bonuses will be abolished).
PRIZE withdrawal terms:
You can withdraw your prize with no restrictions through any payment system available at FXOpen.
Prizes over 1000 USD fall under special terms of withdrawal (as a rule,you have to open a PAMM ECN account and perform a decent number of trades on it before withdrawal).
BONUS withdrawal terms:
You can withdraw your bonus:
- no earlier than in 30 days after obtaining it;
- after making at least 20 trades of 10 minutes' long each.
Bonus calculation FORMULA:
The bonus payable to a real trading account is equal to one percent (1%) of the profit gained.

For example, if a trader earns $5000, a $50 bonus will be deposited to his/her account.
However, there are 2 bonus limitations:
- The amount of bonus for one trader cannot exceed $250 (so, if you earn more than 500% profit your maximum bonus will still remain $250).
- The total amount of all bonuses in a particular competition cannot exceed the declared bonus budget(usually $1200). If the declared bonus budget is exceeded the bonuses will be reduced based on the difference between the actual sum of all bonuses and the declared bonus budget.
For example, if the sum of all actual bonuses in a particular competition (actual bonus budget) amounts to $ 1500 and the total sum ofthe declared bonuses (declared bonus budget) is exceeded, the sum of the bonuses payable to the traders will be reduced by $300 ($1500 -$1200 = $300).
So, the FORMULA for bonus calculation is as follows:
Bonus = (1% of your profit) * (Declared bonus budget / Actual bonus budget)
