js of 9planetreviews
Some key reasons why you should NOT join an MLM: 1. Most Companies have switched over from a lucrative (to the sales folks, you and I) stair-step break away plan to what they call a unilevel pland (5 levels at most, no breakaways). That means that max profits are made by the Company and you and I are NOT rewarded adequately for our efforts. 2. Not passive. Most folks, especially these days, balk at having to recruit and sell. 3. These days only the leaders at the top make the big bucks. It's true and you can't avoid that. 4. Many of these MLMs fail within the first two years, and I mean over 90%! So all that effort you may put in to building your MLM business will have been WASTED! Over and over again until you get burned out from it all. 5. Many of these are simply scams. Fly by night. Most. I can point to a few that are not. But most are. 6. It's hard to find a sponsor that will truly support you, that will help you hold meetings, that will hold you by the hand until you are in momentum (and then move on to help someone else). Most of the time you are left all alone. Do I need to give you any more reasons folks? Just my experience of over 10 years (offline) in these. js Edited February 2, 2009 by js of 9planetreviews Quote Be pleased to read my blog, it's fun, interesting, wide-ranging and so on: http://www.9planetreviews.com/blog.shtml and also see my Best Opps site: micronuts.com where you can get FREE Advertising, all over the place! strosdegoz
1. Most company, but there are still many great ones with incredible payplans. For example, in Trivita you have over 7 levels to get paid through and many different ways of earning. 2. MLM business is not a passive business, thats why they are not passive, but there are some exception... Trivita. You can be totally passive by just buying customers directly from the company, the company introduces the customers in the Master Conversion System and advertise to them 18 times offline and more online. 3. Leaders are leaders because they became leaders by working, i have my own restaurant and i make more money than any employee but thats because i have to guts to start my own restaurant and work hard on it. Same with any MLMs, the people that works the most and have build a team then they get paid the most. If you get in and work harder than anyone of those and bring many people to your downline you will become a Leader. 4. There are Dozens that are over 5-6-7 or even 8 years and older, Look for those. For example: Trivita is turning 10 years old this year in just two months. 5. If you choose one of those flight by night, then you didn't do your homework right and most of those are Pyramid Schemes and not MLMs. Here is the definition to MLM http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-level_marketing 6. Just take your time, go Sponsor shopping and you will find someone that helps you. Hula
We can't lump all MLMs together. :o The tried and true programs with real (decent) products and solid upper management are still very profitable. It's the hyped-up, get-in-NOW-and-make-a-million-bucks-from-spillover programs that are a usually a complete waste of time, effort and money. Unless you get in very early. ^_^ Just my experience of over 10 years (offline and online) in these. js of 9planetreviews
You are right Hula. When I posted that I was referring to the 97% of them out there. There are about 3% who are working well, are honest, do pay their distributors what they deserve for their efforts. So am not knocking those. But where is the guidance to the newbies on all that? In forums like CIF. 'nough said. js Quote Be pleased to read my blog, it's fun, interesting, wide-ranging and so on: http://www.9planetreviews.com/blog.shtml and also see my Best Opps site: micronuts.com where you can get FREE Advertising, all over the place!
