Is curve fitting the use of optimization to find the most profittable setting for parameters? I.E. could an EA could be written initially with external parameters. They could be optimized, then hard coded. Backtesting would then show great results but those results may only be exceptional for the period of the backtest. Is this what curve fitting would be? On forexpeacearmy.com show us the bot opened 4 positions and all of positions was won. (The bot open 2 positions for this month on forexpeacearmy.com 's testing.) But my forward test do not open any position. I will keep on my forward test for 3 months.I think. If you see another position on another pair such as EURUSD.It come form another bot.
