With the LBC set to current date, the 'past projection' looks better, but when the LBC was shifted backwards (3yrs in this case), the future outcome was not so rosy. I ran the install & replaced the exe. And found that the program can backfill (I chose 10 days only) and presto, it works. You can have tick data updated in Amibroker as long as the install path for its default. Which is normally, C:\Program Files (x86)\AmiBroker. If this is in any other path, then there is an error in saving the file path and the program doesn't work. It's simple probability game with same success. Astro is cool but mumbo-jumbo for me, too far from practical application with real money.
