I think its the cheapest provider for data into nt7 compared to other providers . according to me data is fuel for a trader . all the trading strategies we use . so don't get compromise on data . get the best data if u day trade . i am sorry if my words hurt u

But the price structure of truedata is such that one has to pay Rs 36000 for both cash & futures segement which is very costly for a small trader in india. hence asking for alternatives.

If you have a broker who provides Nest/Now as trading terminal you can use the free utility (RTD_1.40) by josh1 to stream tick data from Nest/Now to Ninja or Amibroker. The setup is the most difficult part, but once done it works like a breeze.

When you install the software , go to help section tab .

It will tell you how to set it up.

Incase you have doubt let me know. Will try and help. As i used to use licensed version of this and got expired this month.
