It is very computer intensive and it repaints if price moves through

This indi plots yesterday's price range as fibs on the current day's chart. Some instruments are better adhering to the previous day's fibs than others - one of those is CL: it is usually very respectful of the previous day's levels with high potential for reversal at 23%, 78% as extreme possible reversal points, and 50% is the other most frequent one. On price range overshoots, you'll find that +/-127% are often limits of price extension; when a huge range is in play, and CL is getting sold/bought in extreme, 200% and ultimately 261% are high likelihood reversal points, which also means they are magnets. CL behaves quite differently during the London session where it is essentially on 'autopilot'; during NY it becomes far more dangerous to trade. Also, the likelihood for a reversal between 7am to 8am EST is quite high, after whatever action or trend London has produced. The indicator itself allows you to plot the fib label to the left of the line it draws for you.
 
Also, hopefully you are using something like the anaCurrentDayOHVL found in the 2nd link/indicators - among other features such as plotting pivots and supp/resist, it will also auto adjust your developing current day's fibs, as price range expands.
 
All the aspects above can of course apply to many other instruments, with varying success. Not sure if you have intensly studied CL PA against these levels, but it is quite worth doing so; it really allows for optimum entries, with tight stops, or, usually allows for quick scalps with extremely high success, if your account is small.

Long time no see ... so I wanted to share some of my stuff with you...
 
1. Kwikppop with 3D Box with Text-To-Speech tweaks (all basic packages and premium, Sonar not included)
2. Bet-ter Indicators X with Text-To-Speech tweaks and a modified Sinewave MTF version
3. Market re-play NT addon, with a status texbox (tells you what it is doing)
 
Kwikpop.
It has the 3D box window modified, it shows the name of each indicator and also has a checkbox so you can enable speech alerts. This will work if you also enable the speech setting on the indicator (check the indicator property window). This will allow you to have the setting enabled on the indicator, and switch it off on the 3D box window by default, so history bars won't speak up their changes...
 
It has a breakout speech and a regular momentum speech settings, you can choose either, depending how you trade.
 
I use the KP3DBox and the KPTrend indicators for ES, CL and YM... it also includes the generic 3DBox, so you can use it for any instrument...
 
Bet-ter Indicators X.
It contains the regular BI you already know: the PRO-AM, sine-wave and momen-tum, but the X gives some new tweaks...
 
The Pro-AM has some changes on candle coloring and speech alerts, instead of bar coloring alerts for amateurs or pros, uses text above or below the candle. The coloring I added is mixing the Sinewave graph with colors on the bars, identifying support and resistance by color, instead of checking the Sinewave graph...
 
The Momentum only has some speech alert changes.
 
The Sinewave also has only some speech alert changes. But I did create a Multi Time Frame Sinewave, instead of having 3 charts for checking support and resistance, use only 1 chart and have all 3 timeframes plotted on the same chart. I suggest using the setting for the same type of period: all 3 time frames for ticks or minutes. I suggest ticks... Also for example, a fast time frame would be 500 tick, a normal timeframe 1500 tick, a slow timeframe 4500 tick.. this for the ES...
 
All these indicators will have a button on the chart's toolbar to enable or disable speech alerts. The same goes for their own indicator properties window, you need to enable speech alerts from there too.
 
Market Re-play add on.
The same add-on you saw on other thread, with the difference that it shows you in a textbox what the add-on is actually doing...
 
You know the drill ... if you have them in trial in NT, remove them from your system ... then put the educated ones on bin/custom folder... remember to copy the text to speech dll too...

Open MT4 - make sure you have the MT4 indicator "MetToDet.ex4" runs in the instrument chart that you want to feed. Make sure you change the setting in the indicator to appropriate time frame/s that you want.
Open DT6 - Click on File, then Portfolio, then ACSII setup,
1. select group files
2. c: program files, MT4 platform that you use, go to experts, files you'll see under # 3 Extension/file: prn. of course below that the list of instruments.
4. Date Format: CCYYMMDD
5. Time Format: HHMMSS
6. PRICE DISPLAY: 0.0000
7. SKIP: 0
8. Delimiter: Comma
9. Column position:
date: 1 Time: 2 Open: 3 High: 4 Low: 5 Close: 6 Volume: 7 Open Int: 0,
Then click Save
****Make sure under MT4 Platform, experts, files: has a file named "texinfo.inf" in that folder. the file should come with the met2dt6 indicator. that textinfo.inf file should list as such:

Open DT6, file, new and select whatever time frame that you like from there.

Ray...just a little how we work around here is this...just ask for what you what and have it posted in the thread....if the original uploader does, then great...other wise someone else may have it...also it helps others who may want to see what the system/upload is for the near future. FloridaTrader makes a point that frustrates some on this great I-I Forum.
 
A member will take the time to gather and upload an item, have it downloaded hundreds of times and yet receive only a very few "Thanks", if any at all. Like FloridaTrader, I do not request that members hit the "Thanks" Button for my uploads, but expect that as adults they will show appreciation.
 
It takes all of two seconds to hit the "Thanks" Button, mates!

I was a trader in Ed's room in 2010....his system is very easy to watch, but when you watch him....he doesn't trade the same as his record. We had 13-15 traders and only 2-3 could trade with positive results. He does most of his money making in the early am, and by the time the room was open he had his limit, so when it came to trading in the room, he just wasn't as sharp.
He has great numbers, but if you follow his entries you will see he will $$ cost average, based on his entries. He doesn't do that in the room. I like Ed, 1 on 1 his is very good, but trading in a group in had the patience of a gnat at times. But he does make the money he states in his stats they are legit. His auto trader, does not go on and stay on, he turn it on/off and only trades with the major trend.
His auto trader was based on bluewaves, but had 2 cci filters-20 and 50. Used 3.01 ATR, which would only trigger a color change when and only when the CCI crossed the zero line.

I tried Brooks room before. He does a great job explaining price action of what just happen and why it did, but would ( or maybe could not) call out a single profitable trade for me. It was suppose to be an educational experience, but after 30 days and $99 I found out that I also can do a great job explaining past! Actually I was very sharp. He also claims to be pure price action, but after 20 MA and MTF 20 MAs, countless Trendlines, the 15M and 60M chart, as well as measured move fib, it was hard to see the price or any action for that matter!
I believe that great traders trade, other just sell indicators or get a room!!! Can you imagine Richard Dennis or George Soros setting up a trading room for $99 per month :)

Hey guys,
I received a lot of PM's in the last couple of days and I will start this thread to give you a general idea how the markets work and how you can make money. Most of the stuff I will share is copied from some place else so don't give me credit all I am doing is trying to prevent you from the mistakes I did.
I should mention that this is for futures traders only the forex guys should in my opinion focus on breakouts in the Cable or some other market that really moves and should stay away from the Eur/Usd at least in the beginning.
 
The truth: The markets move because there are imbalances between the buyers and sellers, think about it if you have 10 people who are willing to buy your car and you are offering it for 500$ and everybody is interested what is going to happen? Someone will offer you more than that and the person that bids the most will get it. The markets work in the same way it is an auction (the difference is that is a two sided auction) and there is no such thing as more buyers than sellers. There has to be a buyer for each seller and this is exactly the reason why we can make money! All that matters in the end is the bids and offers. No indicators and no other bullshit.
 
The best platform in my opinion is TT's Xtrader and SURPRISE it has very limited charting abilities but it has a very good DOM which shows you exactly what is going on right now. However the guys at Jigsaw have developed a tool which shows you almost the same and which has a few more features which are essential for newbies who want to learn orderflow.
If I could start again I would only look at the DOM for at least two month because it shows you exactly why a market moves! You need to focus on the bids and offers, the market orders that hit each level and the volume at price (the contracts which traded at each level to see where the big guys are interested in buying or selling) and believe me you don't need anything else. Just focus on the most common levels (Open, close, yesterday and daily high or low) and see what is happening there. I will try to post some more but please don't rush me my primary focus is to make money everyday and not to educate you guys. I will post some trades etc IF I have the time and if I feel like it. How did you get 8.6 to work under 7, I could not do that at all? so yes the basic problem I had is to get IB to send data and it did not work.
 
8.6 and 8.7 are pretty much the same. There was a major change in 8.8 upgrade. If you need only Forex you can get 9.1 to work ( search on this forum for it)
