For my broker I am currently using TradeMonster, which has just this past week finished merging with Optionshouse. My fees are pretty good and the platform is rated #1 by Barron's for options trading.

 

As for courses, if you don't have a familiarity with options, what they are and how they are traded I would recommend checking out the Options Industry Council website or any brokers free webinars and tutorials. I also got started by checking out the Optionetics video course from some years back. It's several chapters of video classes totaling about 9 hours worth of instruction that will get you up to speed on all the basics of options trading. I'm not sure how many are still seeding it, but this is the torrent for that video course:

Still no luck anywhere in getting these materials. They have become the 'holy grail' of file-sharing from what I can tell - just no one anywhere has them. I bump this thread as Carter has just recently begun promoting the latest happenings in ETFs for options trading and will indeed be doing a course next week on the subject.

I think, like busted said, the guy seems fake. But I'd put $7 in if you guys want to. In particular, I'm probably most interested right now in the Weekly Butterflies for Income and High Probability Iron Condors for Small Accounts programs at those lower prices. There's other stuff there I'm interested in, too. But I'm not sure I'd want to pay for it until I judge the quality of his courses first.

The guy in question never got back to me so not any chance to buy them from him now, I'm afraid.

Mulri, you rock! I didn't expect to get a copy of the advanced price action course; I'd searched everywhere for that years ago and came up empty. I'm really into the Ichimoku these days as part of my options trading and hope there's good stuff in here.

You're not going to have much luck, sadly. From my experience trading 4X years ago the Chris Capre stuff is never found on torrents or other sharing sites like this one. Seriously, the guy must have some kind of vault.

Sorry, I didn't get updated on this thread. Yes, I am interested in John Carter stuff; been lately studying the Keltner Squeeze.

Forex is a sucker's bet for retail traders. Price action can never be even remotely predictive - even on the higher timeframes, even discounting indicators and trading purely off price action. Don't waste four years of your life like I did - get out of FX before it sucks out years of your life and thousands from your bank account.

 

I switched to options trading (stocks and large indexes) and have never looked back. Best move I ever made.

Anyone have a line on this? It apparently is the entire scope of the strategy, which normally this guy strings out over hundreds of hours of videos, condensed into one course. Tim Sykes is well known as one of the very few proven, successful penny stock daytraders with all his live trades documented on the Profit.ly service.

Trader who runs the Forex4Noobs website and is often spoken of as a successful long-term forex trader (I'm becoming less inclined to believe as the years go by that such a creature really exists anywhere in nature). NickB, as he is known, runs a site with advice and free webinars and every once in a blue moon opens up his 'VIP' area and offers a more detailed course ($600) than the information he provides for free.

 

Has anyone gotten their hands on this stuff?

I know where to find the entire 2011 MMM 4-hour video course (this is one of the newer seminars with good picture and sound), the set of MT4 indicators and templates, several of the tutorials supplemental to the main course (including the 2011 ones), the famous "Granny" video describing how best to count levels, and finally the PDF version of the course, which was offered right here on II some time ago.

 

I'd originally hoped to set up public torrents to insure the material could not be taken down once shared, but was never able to secure a good torrent feedbox service. If anyone has any ideas, you can reply here. If Indo Investasi doesn't want the hassle, forget I said anything and just delete this post.

 

It sounds like SM will be out of business in another six months, anyway (after he pockets enough of all the suckers' cash), and then everyone can share everything.
