Ive done quite a bit of testing with 1.33. Work best on GU,(20 pip grid) AusCad (30 pip), ANZ (10 or 15 pip). Avoid any trending pairs like EURUSD or AUDUSD.

I agree. My testing showed exactly what you said too. (except I couldn't get GU to test good on a 5 year BT) I think 20pipstep is too small for GU

Remember martingales are sensitive to spread. if you use say a 20pipstep for someone with a 1pip spread that is a 21 step grid if another broker has 3pip spread that's a 23 pip spread now. Testing with martins I always use the lowest spread, my average spread, and the highest for each pair I test. v1.33 is definitely much better and safer version. you do lose some profits using modify martin True (around 40%) .... but you don't lose your whole account. also be aware of spread some pairs.. such as AUDCAD have huge negative swap. If you are stuck in a trade for weeks the swap can kill you. but you still have the option of using it only in the positive swap direction ;)

The Mod version from post 1 is from v1.30 here is v1.33. It has much better drawdown and can be used on several more pairs with much lower risk than v1.30, it is edu. This original mod should've been started from this version, is it too difficult to switch that news filter to this version?

read post #2 its a fake file, created by the author of these **** eas to generate some buzz hoping someone will get frustrated and go buy a copy. so no no one will reupload it. Rita10 is fake and you'll never see another post of his here. So stop bumping this up to the top as thats what the author wants.

 

I have run oddbot on GU and EU for 1 year and it never made profit. I took both off last week. Topbot is not any better. Gaarbage ea's that I wish I had never spent my time or energy on.

Could someone please decompile this for me. Its a free ea from lifesdream.org called CCI Cross Grid. Its a small file and a few years old so even an older decompiler would work. It's free but they dont provide you the mq4 file. I would like to make some changes to the code, I will repost my moded version on here to give back too. Thank you

FYI both oddbot and topbot are WSFR clones and even w stolen code. birt stopped his live forward test, the only live forward test still going for topbot is melly and it is losing. Current market conditions not favorable for WSF or its clones. So don't be too excited by it's great looking backtests.

It now includes new lot progression making it much safer to use. Can be used on 4 pairs now instead of 1. Can anyone please decompile this ex4 file

Hi everyone great news for those of use who use this ea. 2 months ago they came out with version 1.32. As you know this ea uses a modified martingale strategy it is safer than any other martin I have ever seen. What's different in V1.32 earlier versions would trade 0.01, 0.02, 0.04, 0.08, 0.16 new version trades 0.01, 0.01, 0.02, 0.04, 0.08, 0.16. Effectively keeping the same profits while much reducing the risk by one martin level. DD is now far less :)

 

Does anyone have this new version V1.32????? I will make sure to post up many thanks! Or if no one has it, can the current V be modified to have the first 2 trades the same lot size before the martingale kicks in? Thank you so much to anyone that can help

Doesn't v1.02 have an issue somewhere in its code? Mine always makes small loss or $0.00 which all other myfx accounts make something. Right now as I type this my Pipjet trade closed at $0 and looking on myfx their trades are all still open?

 

Any luck with fixing v.1.02 or educating the latest V? This ea has good potential if it worked correctly

So I see some glitches so far. When you avoid news true, it closes trades if there is news (but then upon closing another trade opens) so when a news event is coming up it will close, open, close, open and so on draining your account quick. So that needs to be fixed.

 

Also like fxwealth said it should be set to monitor and close, and not just close all trades when there is upcoming news or the shutoff hour is coming up. This value should be quite high too, such as 500 mins before high news events. That would allow it time to close all current trades in profit before the news event.

 

This is an amazing ea and I'd love to know who did this mod? If we can now fix it a little more would be super. Potental in this ea is huge if it's fixed correctly

you attach to any chart. It records the spread and displays the median, mean, high and low for as long as you keep it attached. It also had a little bar graph at the bottom showing the recorded spread each min. I'm not sure it it was an indicator or an EA.

 

I spent 4 hours searching the net, every forum and searching though all my hard drives with no luck

I ran combo & tfot at the same time for about 8 or 9 months. during that time they had the exact same trades 100% of the time...unfortunately they both had that huge loss period same time too :(

download works now for me. thank you It is the right file nice :) file is smaller than edu v3 dll. This DLL calls back to the server to authenticate.

still wanted to be able to use buys for the hedging when this ea is in a large basket. But not to start with buys. plus you'll lose half the trades. EA uses a lookback on MA to determine buy or sell. I just want whatever it decides to be a sell. Not miss half the trades by not allowing buys

The swap on UC is somewhat high, and a basket of trades can remain open for even a month long. If you are in all buys then the negative swap on these can hurt you significantly. On the flip side you would make a profit on all your shorts, If the EA calculates these profits than it should effectively bring your TP point closer and closer to market price over time during a large DD. (if your broker doesn't have swap rates, than this doesn't apply to you) To see if you have swap rates or not go to strategy tested, put in UC pair, click on symbol properties. Your short (sells) and your long (buys) swap rates will be shown.

TFOT is direct ripoff of FCS minus the 3rd system. I have run both of these eas for about 6 months. trades are exact on system 1 and 2. Both of these eas have been losing now for 3 months. Every penny made by them I have lost. I have both still running but at 0.01 lots just so I can see if these 2 eas will every live again. for now I would stay clear of them. BT does not line up with real live account either.
