I was wondering the exact same thing about all the dots and lines.

I think some people are asking too much from the educators in this forum. Don't forget they are the ones spending all the time and effort and it is all for free.
So market replay doesn't work.....too bad. Be thankful that somebody took the time and effort to educate the indicators for free and they are working well in live market conditions, which is where we need them to work. If it were the other way around and the indis only worked in market replay, but not in the live market; then we wouldn't really be able to profit from them would we?
Thanks for the great job to all the educators in this forum.

I could be wrong, but it is my understanding, from what I heard in one of the OFA Ninja webinars, that exhaustion is a zero print with a strong bid/ask below/above it. So for example a buyer exhaustion is a 0 print on the bid at 1808.50 with a strong bid below that level at 1808.25. And vice-versa for a seller exhaustion which would be for example, a 0 print on the ask at 1805.00 with a strong ask one tick above at 1805.25. The danger here is that price could always trade back down into 1805.00 and print some volume at the bid and then the exhaustion pattern is gone. So trading it in real time and intra-bar with this definition of exhaustion, you have to be careful. I noticed that the definition posted by @tidesync in the anon file screenshot is different though, it uses 3 levels instead of only 2.

I get an error when compiling that says that it doesn't contain a definition for "UIIndicator" and I have referenced all 3 dlls. This is on a 64 bit version on Windows, but NOT in Ninja 64 bit, it is in standard Ninja 32 bit. What could be causing this?

Hi @leledc
I tried sending you a PM for the link but I got an error saying that at the moment, you were unable to receive PMs.

Does anyone have the new sequential scanner plug in for Ninja?
-
Does this indicator also provide capabilities of creating bracket orders and OCO orders or only for trading from the chart in the Direct version on Ninja for AMP?

prtrader post: Start OF@ - go to Help menu - Ninja Trader Data Feed Setup
Start NinjaTrader -open chart - add indicator - Dat@feedtoorderFlow
Connect OF@ to NinjaTrader (File - Connect - NinjaTrader) and Start Analisys - Remember the date of the contracts!!!!
Do you have historical data backfill with this?
That would be a negative. The only way to get something similar to backfill is downloading replay data and replaying the chart. But other than that, it is only real time data.

PRtrader...HOW do you do this?

@traderforlife
I dont think we are talking about the same shaded areas....the shaded areas on the candles are the volume clusters. If you look at my first post, the image there shows what I mean by the shaded areas on the price scale.

@traderforlife
Thanks! So basically, the first is *** delta and the second is COT? I heard something about the second one being the activity right at the close in the last 2-3 ticks of the period...maybe they said it because it's a 3 tick reversal chart, and therefore the last 3 ticks would be off the high/low giving you the COT.
What about the 2-3 price levels highlighted in the price axis with shades of blue or orange color?

An example from today:

I watched some videos, but still don't know what some of the numbers mean. I'm guessing the first one is the COT, but what about the second one, after the "/"?
-
hey prtrader--ive been testing these ofa for a few weeks-they are very powerful.
your charts show it perfectly-
just a comment on your second chart--when you get those big negative numbers on the top of an up bar followed or preceeded by a RS (responsive selling)--great place to go short
ofa website has some good videos to help explain
btw--when i click reply with quote the site hangs--so just a normal reply
Can you tell me what those numbers on the top represent?
Can you show me, on the image I uploaded, what you mean about my second chart?
-
@prtrader...could you please upload the fixed software that you have working....Thanks...Nate
Send me a PM, and I'll give you the link there. I've noticed that lately a lot of links have been taken down.

Does anybody know what those numbers represent?
I'm guessing they represent some sort of *** delta that shows what type of orders were predominant in the bar, but it is not traditional *** delta because it doesn't add up.
Anyways, this is an example of how I use that number and a trade example taken off how I use it. The number is neg. in chart 2, so it means sellers are strong and get a SIT, so after the period closed, I set put a sell order 1 tick below the cluster as shown in chart 1; also chart 1 had a RS a couple of ticks above the cluster on chart 2. I got filled and am currently 3 points in profit.

I wanted to start this thread so we can discuss some ideas on how we use order flow to trade. This can be from our own systems we have designed, or from systems taught by educators.
In my case, I want to start with some questions about one of the most popular softwares used for order flow. I know what some of the numbers represent, but I have questions about other numbers and features of the software.
I have attached the pic with what I know, and the questions that I have. Maybe somebody can help me out, and we can exchange ideas on how we use this software.

I would like to request if anyone can share the OF@ Tr@der @ctivo course from SMB C@pital which can be found at:
http://www.0rderflow@[email protected]/espanol/index.php/2011-07-07-10-32-54/ofa-trader-activo
and this other course found here:
http://www.smbtr@[email protected]/smbcapital/2-uncategorised/120-video-seminario-analisis-flujo-de-ordenes.html
The first one is worth around $2500 and the second one is $250. They are in spanish...someone please share.

Some of those videos are missing. The link is there, but not the video. I was wondering if somebody had the course.
-
Does anybody have a set of videos from SMB Capital?....they are in spanish.

Maybe we can get together and try out the group option for a month and see if we face connection problems. If there are no problems we can keep going, otherwise, we stop the group.

What is unique about this indicator is you can select where to draw custom profiles.
Thanks!
