  1. Hello ... I am going through the "TradeGuider VSA Symposium - London" course, and unfortunately with my download the most important Session6.wmv is missing. Can any of you please confirm that this one is indeed missing from your download as well? If some one finds it, can you please upload it somewhere? It would be very much appreciated. Session 6 seems to be a bar-by-bar walk through of VSA signals. Thanks in advance.
  2. Interesting ... I loaded up TradeGuider with 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 minute charts, and there are signals at different time points. Many confirming each other, but not always.
  3. I am really not yet the VSA expert you think I might be. I am still going through all the courses. I am using VSA in combination with the "Better" indicators for MultiCharts. If both align, I take a trade. On top of that, I also apply the candle confirmation techniques taught by inthemoneystocks.com Personally, I don't trade FX. It's too fluid for me. With FX you might not get the usual VSA signs before a turn. I would learn VSA in a slower market, like with the SPY. When that works out, you try it with a 2x,3x ETF, and then /ES. As for time frames, I always compare three, like 3,6,9, minutes. Why not 5 or 10 minutes? Professionals tend to fool people by making big moves during the last 10 seconds of a 10 minute bar. I like to have those moves at the beginning of my candles rather than the end. I am not sure what to say about the accuracy over longer time frames. I only trade intraday. I have tried longer term trading in the beginning, but I didn't sleep well when I had a trade on :)

  10. The basics between Todd's and TradeGuider's courses are the same. I completely agree with Todd that it's much better to learn VSA with candles than with close-bars. It's a lot more visual, and together with Nison's courses, when you see a candle pattern, you just take a look at the volume to detect a confirming VSA pattern. Up to now, Todd's courses are too basic, especially when you have followed the TradeGuider courses. Hopefully the upcoming course has a lot more to offer. I also think that Todd has a different (more aggressive) trading approach. e.g. Like me, he would trade a hammer in a downturn with stopping volume, and put his stop at the low of the candle. If the stop is taken out by a failed test, he would take a short at that point. I haven't seen TradeGuider people do that.   12. I am sorry, I can not share Todd's work. As for MT4/MT5, I have never used it. I am using VSA indicators with TOS and TradeGuider 2.5.2. I have read Master the market by Tom williams, but it was not until I followed the courses before it all started to kick in.
  13. I started to learn VSA from Todd Krueger's courses. On top of that, I have been using Tradeguider 2.5.2. This is the only version that works for us guys. I think there are 5 courses in this discussion. I finished the very first one, and I am now checking the ones I found a couple of days ago. In the course "Best of Wyckoff - Wyckoff Rediscovered Conference 2010", the pitchfork method is introduced.   14. Some of these file sites lock you out for a day when you try to unsuccessfully download the same file multiple times. I had a problem like that with another course.
  15. VSA is the only method that finally made sense to me. I had been checking methods for about 5 years. Most are BS as they rely on moving averages, and are therefore delayed indicators. I have been using VSA for two years. This together with the Better indicators for tradestation, and Nison's candle stick analysis. The combination worked really well for me. Don't use VSA with bar charts. Candles are much more visual and patterns are easier to detect. On top of that, I am also using the "In The Money Stock (.com)" technical analysis methods. They have daily video's which are highly recommended when you start out trading. Money management is the most important part of trading. And having a well defined trading plan is essential. Paper trade to test your rules, and please spend a couple of weeks watching these video's until the method really kicks in. VSA can be overwhelming at first, but when you understand the rules, it becomes really easy to detect good trades, which are trades with very tide stops, and a high probability of working in your favor.
