szelee, just wondering if it's normal to not having L3? Cause all the charts that I've been looking at, they do not have L3 on it. I only saw L5 (lime), L4 (red), PivotPoint (yellow), H3 (red), H4 (blue) and H5 (lime). L3 is missing and I think it should have been blue colour if I'm not mistaken.

 

German, I've downloaded the indicator that you've given me. Thank you! Just wondering if you could teach me how to assign colours to the L3, H3, L4 and H4. Thanks!

 

 

If you look at the options tab for the indicator, you will see something called GMT shift - the default is 0, but that is only accurate if your SERVER time is GMT. My server time is GMT+2, so I enter a 2 in that field. The options tab contains all sorts of choices for which levels to display, and what color to set them at. Hope this helps.

Guys - the indy is the exact same as the Ste@lth F0rex Early Bird Alert - it is just a simple MA cross I believe. However, try adding the other Ste@lth F0rex indys to the chart as well (Buy and Sell and LCD). When the arrow shows up AND the other indys all change in unison - that is an extremely strong signal!

Don't pay for it diuhut - no need. Do a search on camarilladt - it is an indicator that will plot the exact same cam levels for you, automatically and freely :-)

Hey, I got a request from the admin David to not put "Share" in the title?? I see that everywhere - are we not supposed to? I personally like when I see it because I know that the system is really shared, as opposed to just a request or questions on the system.

scwon - Sometimes there are false positives but I wouldn't risk it - don't use that file! The guy is a scammer after all - he downloads systems for free from places like this and then tries to sell them - I wouldn't put anything past him. Better safe than sorry.

Update - I still had the download page up, and even though I am prompted for a username and password, I simply click cancel and then the download still goes through!!

Hi - can someone please modify the standard MT4 stochastic indicator so that instead of displaying in an indicator window, it simply displays the K and D values in the main window? The only additional inputs should be font size and color, as well as X and Y placement on the chart window - that's all. I've looked around and I can't find anything like this... it sounds like it would be really easy for someone who knows MQL to do.

That's certainly true that they are way overpriced... but that's why we have this forum - so we don't have to pay for them ;-)

 

I find that even though most of these are junk, I always seem to pick up something useful just from examining their system, etc. Heck, the price is right so why not right?? :-)

I have bought some systems from canonbury publishing in the past.

They have been over priced for what they were, required a lot more time than they said and the results were very hit and miss. However, one thing in their favour, I never got any hassle when I requested a refund.

They are for FREE and includes a COT updator so that you don't have to go to the CFTC web site and download the reports, it does it automatically for you, plus a couple of more COT indicators.

 

The ones shared here have some new additionals which are the CI_Net _Position_Histogram and the CI_Total_OpenInterest_Histogram.

I will always appreciate and encourage any traders who share methods or tips of trading which work for them. There's always something, however small, which you can take away which can add benefit to your own trading. In my case it was the realisation that if I'm looking to trend trade over the longer term, then I shouldn't be forgetting about higher spread pairs (which I normally steer well clear of), but instead should look at all pairs and find the one which is trending most.

 

Well said soundfx! The first thing I do when looking at a post is to check out the amount of thanks the poster has received - we need more people like you on this forum and less like our banned friend ;)

 

I don't know about FF though, I think Banned Forever would be more at home at EWEF, where he can petition to become a member and people can evaluate whether his shares are even good enough to count. LOL

Seriously! Also, how do we know that the indicator itself hasn't "borrowed" anything from other freely available indicators?

 

Another thread was started on this a while back and fxalgotrader came on and posted a link to the "latest version" which was just a couple of kb as opposed to an early version which was shared that was much larger. Someone tried it and said that it didn't work. I noticed the filesize difference and the username of the poster and figured he was trying to post some sort of tracking mechanism or spyware. The mods ended up removing the thread.

 

Not really behavior that would make me feel confidant in paying for the system in my opinion.

I can tell you why: moderators are behind waterski scam. Waterski was created and hyped by them and some old members of the forum - that's why lots of 'idiotic hype' about waterski starting the first day he posted his 'system' came from old and experienced members, who would have never done it otherwise without thoroughly testing the system first.

 

Shame on you, 'indoinvestasi'. You are just a bunch of crooks... And I don't care if you ban my 'Banned Forever' profile. This forum is a disgrace anyway. I will only benefit from not participating in it.

 

You don't seem to know the definition of the word "scam". A scam involves tricking people in order to profit from them. It is beyond me how you can think there is some vast conspiracy between this forum and waterskiguy to scam people by giving away a trading system for free. As there is no money involved, there is nothing that they are scamming you out of. waterskiguy shared his findings out of the goodness of his heart, and has not received anything in return for it except maybe the satisfaction of helping others, something that you don't seem to be familiar with. As for this forum, how have they scammed people - by providing access to hundreds of thousands of dollars of trading materials for free, so that we may make out own determinations? By providing a forum where kind and generous people shared their systems and trading ideas and encourage feedback and participation?

 

In my opinion this is without a doubt the best trading forum on the entire Internet and it certainly doesn't need people like you. Good Riddance!

The negativity against Waterskiguy is absolutely ludicrous - he's isn't selling anything for f**k's sake!!! He shares his system here for free, he makes himself available via Skype for free, and then he gets accused of making fake accounts using a proxy server so he can post on his own thread?!?! What the hell for?! Why would he?! Am I the only one who thinks this is totally insane?!

 

Nobody is going to want to share anything on this forum if this is the kind of reception they get! Sure, most systems out there may be junk, but there is always something that can be learned from any system, and let's not forget the most important thing - WE AREN'T PAYING FOR ANY OF IT!!

Apparently when you take the full one on one course offered by the author you receive related materials (videos, PDF I believe) that do not come with the free system.

 

Has anyone taken the 3 Ducks one on one course? It gets pretty good reviews over at systemsf0rtr@ders.
