  1. I see a lot of people trying to filter out all bad trades. If you can filter out 50-60% of all bad trades or false signals your doing better or as good as many professional traders. Bad trades and false signals are part of the game and you won't find any system that doesn't have them. The name of the game is having winning trades larger than losing ones.
  2. What kind of script is it ? Is it just to manage the trades ?

    here is the email I received:

    There is a new set of Instant Orders set of scripts made on request of Eusebio Nanni from MAX trading group. They should be of interests to members of this group and other manual traders as well. The best part of the set is the MultiplyCloseByNow script which closes hedged trades recovering the spread, i.e. after its execution the equity grows in respect when closing all orders one by one. This is direct improvement of the bottom line!

    The link to the new product is http://www.mqlservice.net/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=49

    From the product page:

    This is enhancement of Instant Orders made on request of a trader Eusebio Nanni. The main change is that these scripts allow for setting parameters per each symbol separately. So for example you can have different StopLoss and TakeProfit settings for EURUSD and GBPJPY. There are also five new scripts written s-CloseNowSymbol, s-HedgeNowSymbol, s-CloseAllNowSymbol, s-HedgeAllNowSymbol, s-MultipleCloseByNowSymbol and one indicator i-ShowInputsSymbol.

    There are 6 scripts and 1 indicator in the package:

    s-BuyNowSymbol - executes a market buy order;

    s-SellNowSymbol - executes a market sell order;

    s-BuySellNowSymbol - places both, a buy and a sell order at the same time;

    s-SetInputsSymbol - a script for the pre-assignment of default order values like position size, stop loss, take profit, slippage, comment and magic number;

    s-CloseNowSymbol - closes (part of) the most profitable order. Number lots to close can be set separately via s-SetInputsSymbol;

    s-HedgeNowSymbol - this script is an alternative to the s-CloseNowSymbol script. Instead of closing a portion of the trade, the s-HedgeNowSymbol script hedges it with an opposite order. If the opened trade was a buy (resp. a sell), the s-HedgeNowSymbol makes a sell (resp. a buy). The trade size used by the s-HedgeNowSymbol is the adequate CloseLots parameter value. It is the responsibility of the trader to later make a "Close By" or a "Multiple Close By" to clean all the hedged positions. This way, the time limitation for "scalp" trades is overcome;

    s-CloseAllNowSymbol : this script closes all the current opened trades on the pair it is applied. For example, if there are 3 opened trades on EURUSD, whatever their remaining size, it closes the 3 trades.

    s-HedgeAllNowSymbol : this script hedges all the current opened trades with a global opposite trade. For example, let suppose there are 3 Long (resp. Short) opened trades on the EURUSD with the following size : 0.5 lot, 1 lot, 1 lot, then the script must Sell (resp. Buy) 2.5 lots for the EURUSD.

    s-MultipleCloseByNowSymbol : closes by all opposite orders saving on spread.

    i-ShowInputsSymbol - display a comment with input parameters for a current chart's symbol.

  3. Funny enough this Eusabio guy has recently hired the MQLshop to create a script for him for trading the max system. I have purchased the renko script for the site owner/programmer so he sent me out a mailing letting me know the script was not made private by the max guys so it is for sale.
  4. I don't know how else to explain it, I trade it exactly by the rules set in the system other than using a specific broker that gives me a better idea of trading volume for the period. I dont use any extra indicators or multiple time frames or any of that, I honestly don't believe in using multiple time frames because I can't predict when the trend on the 4H time frame is going to change. This allows me to focus on what the market is presenting me with on the time frame I trade.

    PS: version 10.3 of stealth has slightly different rules because of their inclusion of a pivot point indicator. I am sure it just a rehash of those freely available but I can't be sure.

    PPS: Also if you all want to discuss stealth in depth I suggest maybe a different thread so this one doesn't get hijacked and they can refocus on FDM.

  5. Hi detrader:

    I forgot to ask you a couple of questions. What do you mean Stealth v3 with pivot? I found this system from here (indo-investasi) and it shows v10 on some of the indicators. I just want to make sure I am testing the same system.

    Also, do you follow instruction to the "T" or do you add some of your own modification to achieve those nice pips? Would you share how your normal trading for the day like? Thanks,

    I v10 is not the newest release but it is close. v10.3 is the most current release of Stealth but I am not sure if it is available here or one of the other boards or not. I pretty much stick to the rules 100% and the only change I made was to use a large mt4 brokers so I get a better picture of the true trading volume (MB Trading is my MT4 broker of choice for this). Other than that I stick to rules along with using some of the info found in the ultimate stealth forex guide that can be found on here. My days all vary depending on what I have to do that day but I try to trade both the Londond & US sessions and stop trading after about 3pm EST. If I know a day is going to be busy I may skip it all together and just use FDM on the 30m or 1H charts so my screen time is reduced.

  6. Hi detrader,

    Would you mind to share which timeframe you trade by using Stealth? I'm using M30 for all 3 systems.

    While I do believe the Stealth system has one way to trade the 30m time frame the main system is built around the 15m time frame which is what I trade it on. I do remember looking at the 30m charts with it and found it was less profitable but I can't seem to find my notes as to why that was the case. I believe I started with FDM because I was looking for something to trade on the 1H and 30m time frames and found that I liked it for both of those. I am also looking at another system on the 30m that I picked up form ebay a while back but I havent had the time to watch the charts with it like I have with other systems

  7. I personally like both Stealth and FDM with stealth being my favorite. On the surface it may seem like there are many false signals with stealth but just like with FDM if you follow the rules and pay close attention to a divergence in the stealth signal and the stealth hyrbid indicator you will filter out many false signals. Also pay attention to volume like the instructions say and you will filter out even more bad trades. If you are using Stealth V3 with pivots you will filter out just about as many false signals as possible without going overboard. This of course doesnt mean you won't have losing trades but they will be manageable. I average about 2-3k pips a month between all the recomended pairs in the instructions. Also somewhere on this board is a copy of the ultimate stealth forex guide with is very useful.

    PS: as a note I would rank Stealth and FDM as the better of the three systems. I have trades stelath the longest for over a year with Pro & FDM coming in at about 6 months

  8. If you follow the rules of the system it will keep you out of most ranging periods with few losses. And system will have losing days and even the best systems will perform at break even at best during ranging periods. Luckily the nature of small time frames like 5m & 15m is catching the several intraday short term trends that develop. Off the top of my head I would say the system if followed mechanically will produce greater than %70 winners with minimal drawdown.
  9. The Daily Monster is for 5m - 4H time frames and the Profit Monster is for 4H but the creator trades it on the daily only. For exits I personally look at two things. I will either TP at the support and resistance which the author also mentions in the documentation or I will do it when 2 or 3 of the indicators change color but hardly ever when just one changes. Also when it comes to the support and resistance method I may also just move my stop to break even if things look like they make break out and continue the run.
  10. I thought my post explained it all bu7t I am guilty of not always fully explaining myself. By their nature MTF may repaint but only the number of bars/dots/lines/whatever that equal the time length of the higher time frame candle. Once the higher timeframe candle closes the colors are set. This holds true for ALL multi-timeframe indicators used on lower time frames to show information that goes on in the higher timeframe charts. For example if your using an idicator that is showing you what goes on during the 4H time frame on the 1H it can repaint up to 4 bars or dots or whatever it is using to represent that higher time frame if that trend changes direction. so to make it easy 4 dots/bars/whatever on the 1H time frame equal one 4H candle and the trend can change anytime ont he 4H but it wont show it until the candle closes

    so it doesnt repaint so much as it shows the correct change in trend but the change wont lock in until that higher candle closes. Watch a colored MACD for any timeframe and the histogram may change color several times during a candle until the candle closes.

  11. For those that say the indicators repaint, this is only true on the surface. by their very nature multi time frame indicators will repaint until the current candle/bar on that time frame closes. This is only true when looking at higher timeframes that what you are currently on. For instance, say your looking at the 30m time frame right when a new 4H candle starts, that indicator can change colors for up to 8 - 30m candles on the 30m chart. However once the new 4H candle is closed the colors will set to whatever direction the trend is headed. This is just how it works.
  12. The truth is this was stolen from whomever did the Fibonacci Day Dominator system. They even used one of the same videos. The Day Dominator people at least did several videos clearly outlining how the system is traded with how to enter and exit trades. How profitable it is I can't say but if you want a better overall system get the Day Dominator as it is the same system just more indepth and can also be found here.
  13. Here is my best guess, all can be found here: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=181900

    the colored candles look to be the sm_scalper_candles, the MA is probably MA_applied_price or No_lag7.1 also known or can be found as max_nolag, and the arrows look to be one of the C4 alert arrow indicators found in the thread above.

    Hopefully I am correct as I was a part of this original thread from its inception and remember the system well.

  14. The only problem I have with the lindencourt ea is that fact your calling indicators that dont exist or you changed the names of them. I would highly recomend you at least list what indicators you need along with the names you used in your EA as they are not using the default lidencourt names. Until then I am afriad i am not going to guess at the names needed or I would happily test.
