just to update real time data i tested worked like a charm in dynamic trader. only thing is one cannot change to time frame

P.S. You can change the time frame of data in metastock. As i have perceived the xfeeds are about 5 to 10 seconds late than the actual real time quotes

I have subscription of xfeeds. They provide 1 minute real time data in metastock format. We can create 1 minute real time chart in dt6 with those data but we can not change them to 5 minute or any other higher time frame, this is the limitation with those data in dt6 though in metastock we can change the time frame of these data.

I agree to the point that it is not the possession of lot of systems and books that makes a person successful trader but it is the disciplined study and application of a system and methodology which one find suitable for him is the thing that makes a person successful in trading. Now coming to the availability of systems and books in this forum, we already have more than enough. And what is needed is not any new systems and books but the sincere study and disciplined application of the knowledge gained through the study. We do not know what policies you have in your forum and what the logic or reasoning is behind those policies but we all understand one thing very clearly that something which rightfully does not belong to you is in fact not yours and you don't have any right to restrict its access to some selected people only and prevent others from getting it. And this is what actually is being done in ewef. I am also a member of ewef but rarely visits there. Here we are not only sharing the books or programmes but we also share opinions and we also help each other. This spirit of helping each other is missing in ewef. So in a way ewef is no longer a public forum, it is a club of some selected persons.

I have also found elliot wave analysis very useful in my trading and perhaps this is the only system which has given me some very good trades. Though I do not trade currencies, I trade only index futures and make my wave counts first on a monthly chart, then on a weekly chart and finally on the daily chart. The study of three charts clearly provide me the direction of trade accurately. I also use fibonacci levels and chart patterns(e.g. resistances and supports) to determine my profit targets and stop levels and this way I manage my trades. I have found Robert Miner's(Author of dt6) Manuals very useful. I would also recommend mtpredictor course(not mtpredictor manual) to the aspirants who want to learn and use elliot wave analysis in their trading.

I use 1 Minute real time metastock data provided by some local vendor

It works on real time data also. I have subscription to 1 minute metastock data and they are updated in it automatically.

You are correct meek13 and I would suggest a method of which you have already given a hint. The vowels may be used like this in the subject field of the thread; @ for a, & for e, % for i, 0(Zero) for o and finally ^ for u. Then the members searching a particular subject may also apply these characters. The admins may also program the codes that the subject header may automatically change the vowels in the subject header in a predefined manner. If this is uniformally applied then I don't think there could be any problem.

Contributions of niftymover are remarkable. He is a person who is helping others and it is not good to blame him if someone's personal needs could not have been served. After all we must understand that like every person he also would have many duties to fulfill. So he can spare only some of his time for this job only. We must also understand that so many requests have been made from him and it is great that he is fulfilling the requests one after other slowly. So we must be polite, understanding and respecting each other's feelings in our mutual discussions.
