Hope everyone is doing well. I like to thank everyone and especially Traderbeauty for contributing and sharing knowledge and starting this thread. I’m very excited to see this kind of work and find it a very good way to learn more about markets.
 
As some of you will notice I’ve deleted bunch of posts. I’ve tried my best to use discretion and delete only the post which did not keep in line with the purpose of this thread which is discussion of market forecasts and trading examples. If you feel I’ve deleted your post unfairly, I apologize.
 
I think that trading is a very subjective pursuit and what works for one trader might not work for another, further what works today might not work tomorrow, therefore it is not very productive to try to establish or argue about certainties in a place where so few exist. It will be better to objectively participate in discussions and take individually whatever you find applicable to your trading and deepening your market knowledge.
 
I see a lot of people with strong convictions and passion for markets ,I appreciate and admire that. Therefore I will make a request that if anybody feels strongly about their market approach and that approach is not compatible with the approach presented in this or only other thread, please start a new thread presenting your market view. This will make our forum a very interesting place and you a leading forum member.
 
Let us also keep in mind that we are using an electronic communication format and in such an environment it is very easy to misunderstand or even offend other members. So please let us maintain respectful forum ethics so everyone can feel comfortable.

Hello My Friends.
 
Would love to share with you my longer term forecast of the ES which normally means the entire market.
 
This type of method is the same for day trading- nothing changes other than stops end targets.
 
When you look at the image attached you can see that the market created a LOWER LOW by breaking the previous pivot of 1882.75.
 
I expect now that the market will create a LOWER HIGH and I plan to take an advantage of this opportunity.
 
As you can see the market broke the 1.272 but never made it to the 1.618 ( first arrow on the bottom ).
 
There are 3 levels where I expect the market to continue down-
 
First is where we are now right at the 61.8 .
 
Second is a perfect symmetry ( second arrow ) right at 1945- I need to elaborate about this level-------------------
 
What kind of bothers me is that the market stopped at the middle of nowhere right between the 1.2 and the 1.6 so from my experience- when a fib does not work then a symmetry does- at 1945 we will have a perfect AB=CD meaning the distance between the previous pivot of 1882.75 and the top of 2015 will equal to the distance between the last bottom of 1812.50 and 1945.
 
Third and last level is the 78 at 1971.
 
The move I expect from all these 3 levels is huge at least break of last low of 1812.50.
 
So lets get the game started and I will update you.

i second yamantaka
tried it and it was just a bunch of lagging indicators.
the only positive thing i remember about this software is that the colors were really nice lol.

you can be both. afflitiate part demand much time and effort though. i have an affiliate account with few broker company (some offshore, some russian based), i handle it at first, but later on had some friend manage it. the affiliate program still running, while my own trading account opened with other brokerage service (armada markets), simply comfortable with them, enjoying how their platform works. perhaps my next plan is to works as their partner.
regarding affiliate program, open your own trade before you plan affiliate with some brokers. have a deep check, trade with them, knows their pros and crons. because your potential client would ask in details regarding brokers you partnering with.

just came back to check my position-
so far so good- stop at breakeven and i have my target at 1955.75 for 7 points.

let me answer user33 first and then mastertrader.
 
USER33- my trading is not typical to many other traders. i take a good look at the overall situation of the market- just a visual one- i dont do a thorough analysis etc- for example we are now close to the big 78 where i expect a huge reversal down. i also look at the last day or two- watching the general size of the 8-2 legs - renko spectrum- again just generally- now--- what i have seen in the last few days is that the down legs became bigger and bigger meaning the shorts are starting to control the market- not changing direction yet- but they do have power already. so right now i really dont have a stop although my mental stop will be 2 ticks meaning - if someone followed my entry you can have a 2 tick stop for a potential profit of 7 points that is not bad at all. if you look at the renko 1-1 u can see that we dont have yet a lower low pivot where we can slide our stop yet, but i am sure it will come soon.
now- lets continue- if my entry - again that is me personally- will be broken to the upside i will either try to exit at breakeven which almost always works or i will add at the 1.918 which is 93 and exit both with a nice profit. but since this is a sunday and i have not patience trading now or wasting my time i am going just to look every few hours- now if the 63 will break then it will go to 66 and then i will just change my exit to 59.25 which is still with profit.
i do not believe that at these high levels i have anything to be afraid of shorting with no stops. just for your info- i have another order in my long term account to short at 1971.50 expecting at least 100 points profit- so lets watch and see.
again- let it be very clear- i am not trying to show off- i am very humble and i respect the market- every risk i take is calculated, for example- i would not take any long without a stop.
ok, right now i see a lower high starting to happen so if anyone took this trade you can move your stop to breakeven, exit as i said 7 points and forget about it.

watching the delta or as i like to call it for myself only- "mechanical divergence" is a key for trading the es. i never tested it in any other market and i will appreciate if anyone can test it and post results.
BOTTOM LINE----------------------------------
Watch your pivots - these pivots will depend on your timeframe so you have to check renko 2-1 and 4-1 and sometimes 8-2 even, no big deal.
so lets take an example a a market that is going up-
 
take a look at the image--------
market stopped at first arrow then went down- second arrow- which is a retracement- you do nothing just sit there and have coffee. went up to a new high----- arrow 3----
now- its going down- here is the rule- if it was a perfect fib either 1.2 1.6 or 1.9 or in very extreme situations 2.6 then you know it retraces because of the fib and no other reason so YOU ARE GOING TO BUY when you get a signal.
do the same test for that day and you will see how correct i am.
 
hope that helps- these are things that you will not find in any book or seminar of any guru so i really hope you will take the advantage and use this info to help your trading, you really dont need nay indicators at all.

I have started my account again and am running Pipsodog on it.
This is yet another evolution of Kalinka's hedging strategy, and it works in such a way that it increases lot sizes (much like the old Pyramid did) as price moves away from averaging. The end result is that drawdown is hedged and locked up, and the averaging close out lines are shifted to always be close to price, so a move that shakes up and down will most likely close all the trades out.
It is similar to martingale, except for the fact that the hedging works in both directions... so it would be very hard to kill. Your balance would shoot up like a rocket on a unidirectional move with no retracement.... to the point where the drawdown is still low because of massively increased balance..., and the close-out line is within easy reach of price... so no waiting 6 months for price to come back (only for your account to explode!)
 
It is making about 30% a month, which is seriously good.
 
I'm really upset that my previous live account exploded, otherwise this EA would be making crazy money now... It will take about 12 months, by my calculations, to get my money back with this EA. *sigh*
That should be long enough to test it, and consider continuing to run it however.

The interpretation of indicator is pretty simple:
Open trade in the direction of an indicator after it crosses 0 line.
Close the trade on contrary conditions (crosses 0 line back again).
Trade during market open hours (this means no trading at night, weekends and when markets are closed).
You can trade any pair, also use it while trading indices, commodities etc.

Everyone who says that Fibs do not work usually follows it up by saying something like " and if they do work it is because enough people follow them and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy " And the problem with that is ? It is not important to me as a trader why something works, only whether it does or doesn't.
 
Every time certain technique is discussed....sooner or later a question or remark about showing profitable trades with it comes up. It does not make any difference whether TB or I made any money with it or not. Anyone who has been trading for a while knows that you can give the best trading tool under the sun to two different traders, one will make a killing with it and the other will find a way to screw it up. Whether I or anyone else makes money with it says absolutely nothing about validity of Fibonacci ratios to shed light on important future price and time points of the Market.
 
Thanks for starting the thread TB, I agree - you have shown more real trades than anyone here, even though I don't know why you feel you have to do that to show a good technique....but...well done.
 
And user33, there is no wholly grail and no trading Gods. I doubt I will have anything more to add to this thread, good luck everyone with whatever approach that works for you.

Spectral- i am going to prove it to you in a different way.
Here we are more than 24 hours BEFORE THE OPEN.
I have a limit order to short at 1962.75
My prediction is that i will get filled - it should go to 63 and then it should go down to 1955.50 to the tick at least netting me around 7 points .
This is A REAL LIVE TRADE not executed yet but the order is there.
So lets wait for sunday evening and see how good are my fib trades.
After that - and hopefully i will be right and have a winner- I EXPECT YOU TO MAKE A LIVE CALL IN REAL TIME AHEAD OF THE MARKET.
