    I had installed and ran the optuma 1.6 before i stumbled upon above post. I then manually, cleaned up folders/Reg etc and uninstalled. Then reinstalled following above steps. However, I still get violation issue. Interesting thing is, optuma still remembers username and password how? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

    Thank you for the response. After, having more recent defs (updated) and redownloaded the file now, defender didn't report any issues. it appears to be a false positive and bad defs at one point.

    unfortunately, MS Defender is reporting it as a virus: ts_upgrade_a_ti_p_1.exe
