Do not fall for that trap...! Think about it. Why would they "promote" a certain penny stock/pink slip? Stay away. If you can't and you wanna gamble, your odds are better on a roulette table at your local casino.

Re: The Collective FX The monthly fee is very low...but depends on your trading style and activity. It's not a moneymaker for The Collective, just to keep costs in check. Advantage: new huge liquidity provider, best low spreads in the business, no messing with EAs and play other broker games.

Re: Leechers of FriendlyTraders amongst us They are everywhere. On another forum, where I am a longtime member, they roam the forums continuously searching for stuff to post on their own forum. I am not a fan of their forum either. Together with leechers, it's something that you can not prevent. Although the five post rule is a good one. "Stealing" is part of this business (and any business really). I have seen people copying publicly developed EAs on that forum, rename them and sell them making a shitload of $$. Sooner or later tho, they get banned and ForexPeaceArmy is doing an excellent job chasing scammers.

Re: How Long You've Been in Business? 6+ months...learning everyday. Trading FT now and loving it. Working over 16 hours per day, reading forums, testing new strategies etc. It's a tough business, but I am getting the hang of it. :)

Re: What's your strategy for coping with big losses? Losses are part of the game. To control losses getting out of hand, I use a simple statement: IF the trade goes against me, but the reason for entering the trade in the first place is still valid, I stay in. IF the trade goes against me and I see that the initial reason for entering this trade is no longer valid, I get out asap. Works for me. It's all about having a plan and know WHY you pick a trade.
