  1. BTW, I know nothing about the Hector guy or his system. These are just generic comments.
  2. The past is not an indication of the future. Yes, you have the right to get some information about the past performance, but not what your performance could be in future. I understand that's the main issue here. Apologies if I got this wrong, but I have seen too many of those threads where people complain because a vendor did not promise them something he really could not. No vendor can promise you anything in terms of future performance, for instance. At least, not in good faith. At best, to get your money.
  3. I totally agree with you. Honest vendors don't make definite predictions and only fools expect them. It's mindboggling how ****** some people can be. They are basically begging to get scammed by those who are too eager to offer any kind of expectations or even a guarantee (heck, sometimes with double your money back - good luck with that).
  4. Apparently, he died broke or so some people say. Alexander Elder is among them if I am not mistaken.
  5. Yep, anfutures.com is good. Used them in the past. Too bad they offer no data for YM.
  6. There is no Holy Grail. But there are good trading methods. Find them and you will do well. People who rely on promises of others will never make it in this business.
  7. Yes, I agree. Your way is the best way, which also means a lot of practice first and foremost before you start trading with real money. However, a good mentor can help, if you can find one, which is not so easy. Forex attracts really bad vendors and mentors that prey on poor suckers. It's better in futures.
  8. That was a very promising start. What happened? I hope you are okay.
  9. I have thought of switching to Sierra Chart, but I am still using Ninja. I like it, it's free for charting and analysis, and for trading I use some other platform supplied by my broker with no fee. I agree that IB is a very good broker if you have money to spare, but for those of tighter budgets, I would not recommend them.
  10. I don't mind paying for value and have done so on a few occassions and generally have been happy with my online deals so far. I just don't see the point of paying for something that others contribute for free.
