I posted a thread "Sharing Knowledge Between Members." to address this issue. p2p is a better solution than file uploading. It avoids legal issues and the tracker only needs limited disk space because data files are not stored there, only the torrent file which contains some info about the files being shared and the seeders and leechers for each torrent so the peers can connect with each other and share the files.

I would like to make a suggestion for sharing files among members. Using the file sharing services is not the best way. I am sure everyone is aware of the problems associated with that method. It would be very nice if the forum administrators could set up a private bittorrent tracker for forum members to use to share files. Sharing files via bittorrent is currently the best way to do it. Thank you.
