by the way HYPER; here are the questions posed...i want you to think about them before your start mud slinging: 1) "is it true, that it is a bit higher spreads at MT then on other dukascopy platforms ?" IF YOU KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT DUKASCOPY YOU WOULD KNOW THAT MT4 IS IN BETA. if i answered with an affirmative answer it would be a pre-mature one considering nobody knows what duka will do when mt4 is live. (although it would be foolish for duka to have different spreads for jforex than mt4...and duka is no fool). 2) "And is it true that spread on demo are different on MT than on live account ?" AGAIN; A QUESTION THAT CANNOT BE ANSWERED W/OUT MT ACTUALLY GOING LIVE ON DUKA. if you read the questions! any logical person on this board would tell you that this cannot be answered with 100% certainty! UNLESS AND UNTIL DUKA goes live with MT4 NO ONE can answer this with 100% accuracy. if they do; they do not know what they are talking about. however; if i had to go on dukascopy's reputation (which i did and will), im going to assume that the spreads will be identical....when they do eventually go LIVE with mt4!

hyperdimension; perhaps if you actually read my answer; it would illustrate to you that there is some ambiguity in the initial question posed. clearly; had the question been clarified or followed up with; i would have answered with a "better" answer. if you look at my first sentence; it ends with a question. then followed up with another question seeking clarity. please read before you jump on a horse gun slinging. i will entertain your supposition: even if i "do not or [rarely] trade with dukascopy" how does that take away from the fact THAT I CAN STILL GIVE 45% OFF THE COMMISSION? truly; as a IB i will get 5% and the client will get 45% directly into their account: indeed, i will get 5%. again; i ask you...what does that have to do with me seeking clarity to the question posed?

Re: Dukascopy Metatrader 4 platform hyper; are you saying my responses are poor? im not sure what you mean. my answers reflect an ambiguous question. did you read the question and reflect on my answers? essentially; staw was asking if the spreads were determined by the platform used; to which i said that doesnt sound logical. how is that a poor response?

Re: Dukascopy Metatrader 4 platform staw; sorry for the delayed reply. anyhow; your question regarding MT than duka platform? that is a tough question to answer. are you asking if the spreads on metatrader are higher than duka's platform? i don't have first hand knowledge of this; but if need be i can find out. but my first thought and answer is: i doubt it. i suspect the spreads are not determined by the platform but rather the individual broker. demo and spread: again; this doesn't sound logical. i think each broker will reflect its spread on the their own mt4 platform when you use it. besides; if it was different than it would be considered bait and switch and once people got wind of this tactic; brokers would lose their creditability pretty quickly. so; logic says NO on both counts.
