the best software for a Fibonacci traders, though its user interface is not so dynamic to switch between symbols. EoD it is best and it truly gives positional view. Use either MS or ASCII (require one time setup) and it is done. I dont know what is new in ver 8 over ver 7 that i am using currently. It's like buying a cheap printer and finding out the ink costs a fortune. 😁 The need for specialized and expensive data feeds like eSignal or IQFeed makes the total cost of ownership much higher than expected. Viper in my opinion, not a plug in and play straight out from the box. It needs a decent amount of time studying and knowing how to use it correctly. A steep learning curve. On top of that, the chart trader alone is over overwhelming to even look at.😂

Have you looked in the settings? If I recall, there are boxes to check or uncheck for live or historical trading. Besides all that, make sure to play with target and stoploss, as the default comes with like 8 ticks of stoploss. That is, nuts, to me. Especially if you trade NQ.

I feel that as long as you find an indicator that works. If the new update comes out and I have been using that indicator for a while, then I will pay the real developer for it. This is also the other reason I am trying to create my own and figure out what I like. I use these versions that the educators did for us to see if I like the indicator, but if it works and/or makes me money, then I buy the official one. I look at it this way, if I make more than the indicator costs me then it is worth it for me to buy it. If I don't, then it is either not worth having or buying.

The only thing good about ARC is that they have a very good marketing strategy dept. The dude who does all the talking for their products representation knows how to sweet talk to the audiences ears. It is all about saying all the right things that traders or soon to be traders wanna hear. Especially now we are in the A.I and prop firms era. Everything you want to see and hear are carefully packed and geared to hit your brains so called "G-spot" when you watch those presentations. You just melt like M&M candies and you just desperately want to get your hands on their products. Yes, they all look tight and awesome. Yes, they all make it out like trading is so easy, effortless and stress free. But then we all know, trading aint so in reality. I am not, by any means, trying to trash talk their products. In fact, I do like some. But you are correct. Having them is one thing. Knowing how to use them correctly to your advantage is another thing. If so, if the ultimate goal is to be profitable and to bring in money daily and if something actually works, why would I still have the needs to find another indicator, another strat, another bot? You can... Just have csv file in a folder, Then go File-->Portfolio manager.. There is ASCII setup option.. Once you had setup the ASCII Setup correctly. You need to create New Portfolio.. The thing each time you need to update the portfolio symbols if you change the symbol. BR

you are right, anyway MT4/MT5 has CFD data (AMP MT5 has futures data unfortunately jagged) so from my side useless....If I have to use EOD data I prefer to use only the supertrend and I don't need an additional platform (obviously my opinion)

This is exactly what I started, and with Claude it is actually working out well. I now have a pretty decent indicator suite I was able to build for just my trading style. I am finally now on all my own code, describing to Claude exactly what I want with volume etc. It worked out and took a lot of trial and error. I have found that creating something on my own to my style was a lot better than taking any indicator that was out there and trying to run with it.
